Fibering polarizations and Mabuchi rays on symmetric spaces of compact type
Abstract: In this paper, we describe holomorphic quantizations of the cotangent bundle of a symmetric space of compact type $T^*(U/K)\cong U_\mathbb{C}/K_\mathbb{C}$, along Mabuchi rays of $U$-invariant Kähler structures. At infinite geodesic time, the Kähler polarizations converge to a mixed polarization $\mathcal{P}_\infty$. We show how a generalized coherent state transform relates the quantizations alon… ▽ More

Lie groups with all left-invariant semi-Riemannian metrics complete
Abstract: For each left-invariant semi-Riemannian metric $g$ on a Lie group $G$, we introduce the class of bi-Lipschitz Riemannian Clairaut metrics, whose completeness implies the completeness of $g$. When the adjoint representation of $G$ satisfies an at most linear growth bound, then all the Clairaut metrics are complete for any $g$. We prove that this bound is satisfied by compact and 2-step nilpotent gr… ▽ More

Locally conformal SKT structures
Abstract: A Hermitian metric on a complex manifold is called SKT (strong Kähler with torsion) if the Bismut torsion $3$-form $H$ is closed. As the conformal generalization of the SKT condition, we introduce a new type of Hermitian structure, called \emph{locally conformal SKT} (or shortly LCSKT). More precisely, a Hermitian structure $(J,g)$ is said to be LCSKT if there exists a closed non-zero $1$-form… ▽ More

Retarded integral inequalities of Gronwall-Bihari type
Abstract: We establish two nonlinear retarded integral inequalities. Bounds on the solution of some retarded equations are then obtained.

Some linear and nonlinear integral inequalities on time scales in two independent variables
Abstract: We establish some linear and nonlinear integral inequalities of Gronwall-Bellman-Bihari type for functions with two independent variables on general time scales. The results are illustrated with examples, obtained by fixing the time scales to concrete ones. An estimation result for the solution of a partial delta dynamic equation is given as an application.

Generalizations of Gronwall-Bihari Inequalities on Time Scales
Abstract: We establish some nonlinear integral inequalities for functions defined on a time scale. The results extend some previous Gronwall and Bihari type inequalities on time scales. Some examples of time scales for which our results can be applied are provided. An application to the qualitative analysis of a nonlinear dynamic equation is discussed.

Isoperimetric Problems of the Calculus of Variations on Time Scales
Abstract: We prove a necessary optimality condition for isoperimetric problems on time scales in the space of delta-differentiable functions with rd-continuous derivatives. The results are then applied to Sturm-Liouville eigenvalue problems on time scales.

Diamond-alpha Integral Inequalities on Time Scales
Abstract: The theory of the calculus of variations was recently extended to the more general time scales setting, both for delta and nabla integrals. The primary purpose of this paper is to further extend the theory on time scales, by establishing some basic diamond-alpha dynamic integral inequalities. We prove generalized versions of Hölder, Cauchy-Schwarz, Minkowski, and Jensen's inequalities. For the p… ▽ More
