Given its real-time capability to quantify mechanical tissue properties, ultrasound shear wave elastography holds significant promise in clinical musculoskeletal imaging. However, existing shear wave elastography methods fall short in enabling full-limb analysis of 3D anatomical structures under diverse loading conditions, and may introduce measurement bias due to sonographer-applied force on the transducer. These limitations pose numerous challenges, particularly for 3D computational biomechanical tissue modeling in areas like prosthetic socket design. In this feasibility study, a clinical linear ultrasound transducer system with integrated shear wave elastography capabilities was utilized to scan both a calibrated phantom and human limbs in a water tank imaging setup. By conducting 2D and 3D scans under varying compressive loads, this study demonstrates the feasibility of volumetric ultrasound shear wave elastography of human limbs. Our preliminary results showcase a potential method for evaluating 3D spatially varying tissue properties, offering future extensions to computational biomechanical modeling of tissue for various clinical scenarios.

Originally motivated by connections to integrable systems, two natural subalgebras of the rational Cherednik algebra have been considered in the literature. The first is the subalgebra generated by all degree zero elements and the second is the Dunkl angular momentum subalgebra.
In this article, we study the ring-theoretic and homological properties of these algebras. Our approach is to realise them as rings of invariants under the action of certain reductive subgroups of $\mathrm{SL_2}$. This allows us to describe their centres. Moreover, we show that they are Auslander-Gorenstein and Cohen-Macaulay and, at $t = 0$, give rise to prime PI-algebras whose PI-degree we compute.
Since the degree zero subalgebra can be realized as the ring of invariants for the maximal torus $\mathrm{T} \subset \mathrm{SL_2}$ and the action of this torus on the rational Cherednik algebra is Hamiltonian, we also consider its (quantum) Hamiltonian reduction with respect to $\mathrm{T}$. At $t = 1$, this is a filtered quantization of the quotient of the minimal nilpotent orbit closure $\overline{\mathcal{O}}_{\min}$ in $\mathfrak{gl}(n)$ by the reflection group $W$. At $t = 0$, we get a graded Poisson deformation of the symplectic singularity $\overline{\mathcal{O}}_{\min}/W$.

Algebraic Frobenius manifolds are typically related to quasi-Coxeter conjugacy classes in finite Coxeter groups. We find explicit relations between flat coordinates of the Frobenius metric $η$ and flat coordinates of the intersection form $g$ for most known examples of algebraic Frobenius manifolds up to dimension 4. In all the cases, flat coordinates of the metric $η$ appear to be algebraic functions on the orbit space of the Coxeter group.

Let $W$ be a finite Coxeter group and $V$ its reflection representation. The orbit space $\mathcal{M}_W= V/W$ has the remarkable Saito flat metric defined as a Lie derivative of the $W$-invariant bilinear form $g$. We find determinant of the Saito metric restricted to an arbitrary Coxeter discriminant stratum in $\mathcal{M}_W$. It is shown that this determinant is proportional to a product of linear factors in the flat coordinates of the form $g$ on the stratum. We also find multiplicities of these factors in terms of Coxeter geometry of the stratum.
This result may be interpreted as a generalisation to discriminant strata of the Coxeter factorisation formula for the Jacobian of the group $W$. As another interpretation, we find determinant of the operator of multiplication by the Euler vector field in the natural Frobenius structure on the strata.

Lassalle and Nekrasov discovered in the 1990s a surprising correspondence between the rational Calogero-Moser system with a harmonic term and its trigonometric version. We present a conceptual explanation of this correspondence using the rational Cherednik algebra and establish its quasi-invariant extension.
More specifically, we consider configurations $\mathcal A$ of real hyperplanes with multiplicities admitting the rational Baker-Akhiezer function and use this to introduce a new class of non-symmetric polynomials, which we call $\mathcal A$-Hermite polynomials. These polynomials form a linear basis in the space of $\mathcal A$-quasi-invariants, which is an eigenbasis for the corresponding generalised rational Calogero-Moser operator with harmonic term. In the case of the Coxeter configuration of type $A_N$ this leads to a quasi-invariant version of the Lassalle-Nekrasov correspondence and its higher order analogues.

However, there is currently no solution, imaging or otherwise, capable of providing a map of active muscles over a large field of view in dynamic scenarios. In this work, we look at the feasibility of longitudinal sound speed measurements to the task of dynamic muscle imaging of contraction or activation. We perform the assessment using a deep learning network applied to pre-beamformed ultrasound channel data for sound speed inversion. Preliminary results show that dynamic muscle contraction can be detected in the calf and that this contraction can be positively assigned to the operating muscles. We consider Dunkl version of Laplace-Runge-Lenz vector associated with a finite Coxeter group $W$ acting geometrically in $\mathbb R^N$ with multiplicity function $g$. This vector generalizes the usual Laplace-Runge-Lenz vector and its components commute with Dunkl-Coulomb Hamiltonian given as Dunkl Laplacian with additional Coulomb potential $γ/r$. We study resulting symmetry algebra $R_{g, γ}(W)$ and show that it has Poincaré-Birkhoff-Witt property. In the absence of Coulomb potential this symmetry algebra $R_{g,0}(W)$ is a subalgebra of the rational Cherednik algebra $H_g(W)$. We show that a central quotient of the algebra $R_{g, γ}(W)$ is a quadratic algebras isomorphic to a central quotient of the corresponding Dunkl angular momenta algebra $H_g^{so(N+1)}(W)$. This gives interpretation of the algebra $H_g^{so(N+1)}(W)$ as the hidden symmetry algebra of Dunkl-Coulomb problem in $\mathbb R^N$. By specialising $R_{g, γ}(W)$ to $g=0$ we recover a quotient of the universal envelo** algebra $U(so(N+1))$ as the hidden symmetry algebra of Coulomb problem in $\mathbb R^N$. Objective: Ultrasound elastography is gaining traction as an accessible and useful diagnostic tool for such things as cancer detection and differentiation and thyroid disease diagnostics. Unfortunately, state of the art shear wave imaging techniques, essential to promote this goal, are limited to high-end ultrasound hardware due to high power requirements; are extremely sensitive to patient and sonographer motion, and generally, suffer from low frame rates. Motivated by research and theory showing that longitudinal wave sound speed carries similar diagnostic abilities to shear wave imaging, we present an alternative approach using single sided pressure-wave sound speed measurements from channel data.
Methods: In this paper, we present a single-sided sound speed inversion solution using a fully convolutional deep neural network. We use simulations for training, allowing the generation of limitless ground truth data.
Results: We show that it is possible to invert for longitudinal sound speed in soft tissue at high frame rates. We validate the method on simulated data. We present highly encouraging results on limited real data.
Conclusion: Sound speed inversion on channel data has significant potential, made possible in real time with deep learning technologies.
Significance: Specialized shear wave ultrasound systems remain inaccessible in many locations. longitudinal sound speed and deep learning technologies enable an alternative approach to diagnosis based on tissue elasticity. High frame rates are possible.

We consider subalgebras of the polynomial algebra generated by generalized power sums, and study when such algebras are Cohen-Macaulay. It turns out that the Cohen-Macaulay property of such algebras is rare, and tends to be related to quantum integrability and representation theory of Cherednik algebras. Using representation-theoretic results and deformation theory, we establish Cohen-Macaulayness of the algebra of $q,t$-deformed power sums defined by Sergeev and Veselov, and of some generalizations of this algebra, proving a conjecture from arXiv:1410.5096. We discuss the energy spectrum of this quantum system, its degeneracies and the eigenstates. The spectral flow with the coupling parameter yields isospectrality for integer increments. Decoupling the center of mass before effecting the spherical reduction produces a `relative angular Calogero-Moser model', which is analyzed in parallel. For the rational Baker-Akhiezer functions associated with special arrangements of hyperplanes with multiplicities we establish an integral identity, which may be viewed as a generalisation of the self-duality property of the usual Gaussian function with respect to the Fourier transformation. We show that the value of properly normalised Baker-Akhiezer function at the origin can be given by an integral of Macdonald-Mehta type and explicitly compute these integrals for all known Baker-Akhiezer arrangements. We use the Dotsenko-Fateev integrals to extend this calculation to all deformed root systems, related to the non-exceptional basic classical Lie superalgebras.

We consider the polynomial representation S(V*) of the rational Cherednik algebra H_c(W) associated to a finite Coxeter group W at constant parameter c. We show that for any degree d of W and nonnegative integer m the space S(V*) contains a single copy of the reflection representation V of W spanned by the homogeneous singular polynomials of degree d-1+hm, where h is the Coxeter number of W; these polynomials generate an H_c(W) submodule with the parameter c=(d-1)/h+m. We express these singular polynomials through the Saito polynomials that are flat coordinates of the Saito metric on the orbit space V/W. We also show that this exhausts all the singular polynomials in the isotypic component of the reflection representation V for any constant parameter c.

This generalizes certain results of Kasatani in types A_n, (C_n^\vee,C_n). We obtain commutative algebras of difference operators given by the action of invariant combinations of Cherednik-Dunkl operators in the corresponding quotient modules of the polynomial representation. This gives known and new generalized Macdonald-Ruijsenaars systems. Thus in the cases of DAHAs of types A_n and (C_n^\vee,C_n) we derive Chalykh-Sergeev-Veselov operators and a generalization of the Koornwinder operator respectively, together with complete sets of quantum integrals in the explicit form.

We consider representations of rational Cherednik algebras which are particular ideals in the ring of polynomials. We investigate convergence of the integrals which express the Gaussian inner product on these representations. We derive that the integrals converge for the minimal submodules in types B and D for the singular values suggested by Cherednik with at most one exception, hence the corresponding modules are unitary. The analogous result on unitarity of the minimal submodules in type A was obtained by Etingof and Stoica, we give a different proof of convergence of the Gaussian product in this case. We also obtain partial results on unitarity of the minimal submodule in the case of exceptional Coxeter groups and group B with unequal parameters.

We incorporate these conditions into the notion of trigonometric Veselov system ($\vee$-system) and we determine all trigonometric $\vee$-systems with up to five vectors. We show that generalized Calogero-Moser-Sutherland operator admits a factorized eigenfunction if and only if it corresponds to the trigonometric $\vee$-system; this inverts a one-way implication observed by Veselov for the rational solutions.

In the simplest case where there is only one multiple eigenvalue t, this leads to orthogonal polynomials with the Hermite weight perturbed by a factor that has a multiple zero at t. We show through a pair of ladder operators, that the diagonal recurrence coefficients satisfy a particular Painleve IV equation for any real multiplicity. If the multiplicity is even they are expressed in terms of the generalized Hermite polynomials, with t as the independent variable.

We consider a class of solutions of the WDVV equation related to the special systems of covectors (called $\vee$-systems) and show that the corresponding logarithmic Frobenius structures can be naturally restricted to any intersection of the corresponding hyperplanes. For the Coxeter arrangements the corresponding structures are shown to be almost dual in Dubrovin's sense to the Frobenius structures on the strata in the discriminants discussed by Strachan. For the classical Coxeter systems this leads to the families of $\vee$-systems from the earlier work by Chalykh and Veselov. For the exceptional Coxeter systems we give the complete list of the corresponding $\vee$-systems. We present also some new families of $\vee$-systems, which can not be obtained in such a way from the Coxeter systems.

We prove bispectral duality for the generalized Calogero-Moser-Sutherland systems related to configurations $A_{n,2}(m), C_n(l,m)$. The trigonometric axiomatics of Baker-Akhiezer function is modified, the dual difference operators of rational Macdonald type and the Baker-Akhiezer functions related to both series are explicitly constructed.

Abstract:
A basis of quasi-invariant module over invariants is explicitly constructed for the two-dimensional Coxeter systems with arbitrary multiplicities. It is proved that this basis consists of $m$-harmonic polynomials, thus the earlier results of Veselov and the author for the case of constant multiplicity are generalized.

A notion of rational Baker-Akhiezer (BA) function related to a configuration of hyperplanes in C^n is introduced. It is proved that BA function exists only for very special configurations (locus configurations), which satisfy certain overdetermined algebraic system. The BA functions satisfy some algebraically integrable Schrodinger equations, so any locus configuration determines such an equation. Some results towards the classification of all locus configurations are presented. This theory is applied to the famous Hadamard's problem of description of all hyperbolic equations satisfying Huygens' Principle. We show that in a certain class all such equations are related to locus configurations and the corresponding fundamental solutions can be constructed explicitly from the BA functions.
