We study the effect of parity deformation of the environmental field modes on the wireless charging performance of a qubit-based open quantum battery (QB) consisting of a qubit-battery and a qubit-charger, where there is no direct interaction between the qubits and battery is charged by the mediation of the environment. The parity deformation introduces field nonlinearities as well as qubit-environment intensity-dependent couplings. We analyze in detail charging characteristics, including the charging energy, efficiency and ergotropy in both the weak and strong coupling regimes, and show that the memory effects of mediator environment are critical in enhancing the charging performance. In the strong coupling regime, parity deformation of the environment fields can further trigger non-Markovian quantum memory of the charger-battery system, thereby enhancing the QB charging performance based on the non-Markovianity. Surprisingly, if the charging process is Markovian in the absence of the parity deformation, parity deformation is able to induce memory effects in the charger-battery dynamics and transforms the Markovian process to the non-Markovian one. This work highlights that proper engineering of the coupling to an environment can introduce an extra quantum memory source to the underlying charging process in favor of environment-mediated charging of the battery.

The performance of open quantum batteries (QBs) is severely limited by decoherence due to the interaction with the surrounding environment. So, protecting the charging processes against decoherence is of great importance for realizing QBs. In this work we address this issue by develo** a charging process of a qubit-based open QB composed of a qubit-battery and a qubit-charger, where each qubit moves inside an independent cavity reservoir. Our results show that, in both the Markovian and non-Markovian dynamics, the charging characteristics, including the charging energy, efficiency and ergotropy, regularly increase with increasing the speed of charger and battery qubits. Interestingly, when the charger and battery move with higher velocities, the initial energy of the charger is completely transferred to the battery in the Markovian dynamics. In this situation, it is possible to extract the total stored energy as work for a long time. Our findings show that open moving-qubit systems are robust and reliable QBs, thus making them a promising candidate for experimental implementations.

Quantum cellular automata (QCA) evolve qubits in a quantum circuit depending only on the states of their neighborhoods and model how rich physical complexity can emerge from a simple set of underlying dynamical rules. For instance, Goldilocks QCA depending on trade-off principles exhibit non-equilibrating coherent dynamics and generate complex mutual information networks, much like the brain. The inability of classical computers to simulate large quantum systems is a hindrance to understanding the physics of quantum cellular automata, but quantum computers offer an ideal simulation platform. Here we demonstrate the first experimental realization of QCA on a digital quantum processor, simulating a one-dimensional Goldilocks rule on chains of up to 23 superconducting qubits. Employing low-overhead calibration and error mitigation techniques, we calculate population dynamics and complex network measures indicating the formation of small-world mutual information networks. Unlike random states, these networks decohere at fixed circuit depth independent of system size; the largest of which corresponds to 1,056 two-qubit gates. Such computations may open the door to the employment of QCA in applications like the simulation of strongly-correlated matter or beyond-classical computational demonstrations.

The performance of image classification methodsheavily relies on the high-quality annotations, which are noteasily affordable, particularly for medical data. To alleviate thislimitation, in this study, we propose a weakly supervised imageclassification method based on combination of hand-craftedfeatures. We hypothesize that integration of these hand-craftedfeatures alongside Long short-term memory (LSTM) classifiercan reduce the adverse effects of weak labels in classificationaccuracy. Our proposed algorithm is based on selecting theappropriate domain representations of the data in Wavelet andDiscrete Cosine Transform (DCT) domains. This informationis then fed into LSTM network to account for the sequentialnature of the data. The proposed efficient, low dimensionalfeatures exploit the power of shallow deep learning modelsto achieve higher performance with lower computational cost.In order to show efficacy of the proposed strategy, we haveexperimented classification of brain tumor grades and achievedthe state of the art performance with the resolution of 256 x 256. We also conducted a comprehensive set of experiments toanalyze the effect of each component on the performance.

In this work we offer an approach to protect the entanglement based on the anti-symmetric property of the hamiltonian. Our main objective is to protect the entanglement of a given initial three-qubit state which is governed by hamiltonian of a three-spin Ising chain in site-dependent transverse fields. We show that according to anti-symmetric property of the hamiltonian with respect to some operators mimicking the time reversal operator, the dynamics of the system can be effectively reversed. It equips us to control the dynamics of the system. The control procedure is implemented as a sequence of cyclic evolution; accordingly the entanglement of the system is protected for any given initial state with any desired accuracy an long-time. Using this approach we could control not only the multiparty entanglement but also the pairwise entanglement. It is also notable that in this paper although we restrict ourselves mostly within a three-spin Ising chain in site-dependent transverse fields, our approach could be applicable to any n-qubit spin system models.

Meanwhile as an illustration, the method is applied to tensor product of 2 and 3 qubit pseudo Hermitian systems. Then the measures of concurrence and average entropy are applied to quantify the entanglement of the pseudo two and three qubit states respectively.

We show that the inversely-engineered control passages of mixed states - and pure states as special cases - can be made significantly faster than the conventional adiabatic control passages, which renders the method applicable to quantum computation. We devise a new type of inversely-engineered control passages, to be coined the antedated control passages, which further speed up the control significantly. We also demonstrate that by carefully tuning the control parameters, the inversely-engineered control passages can be optimized in terms of speed and energy cost.

We evaluate the eigenvalues of the Hamiltonian and the time-evoultion operator exactly for a 3-spin chain, from which we obtain the expectation values of $σ_x$ of the first spin. The parameters are found from the peak positions of the Fourier transform of the expectation value. There are four assumptions in our method, which are mild enough to be satisfied in many physical systems.

The purpose of this paper is to generalize fermionic coherent states for two-level systems described by pseudo-Hermitian Hamiltonian \cite{Trifonov}, to n-level systems. Central to this task is the expression of the coherent states in terms of generalized Grassmann variables. These kind of Grassmann coherent states satisfy bi-overcompleteness condition instead of over-completeness one, as it is reasonably expected because of the biorthonormality of the system. Choosing an appropriate Grassmann weight function resolution of identity is examined. Moreover Grassmannian coherent and squeezed states of deformed group $SU_{q}(2)$ for three level pseudo-Hermitian system are presented.

In this paper the geometry of two-qubit systems under local unitary group $SO(2)\otimes SU(2)$ is discussed.
