We consider 5D brane world models with broken global 4D Poincar\a'{e} invariance (4D part of the spacetime metric is not conformal to the Minkowski spacetime). The bulk is filled with the negative cosmological constant and may contain a perfect fluid. In the case of empty bulk (the perfect fluid is absent), it is shown that one brane solution always has either a physical or a coordinate singularity in the bulk. We cut off these singularities in the case of compact two brane model and obtain regular exact solutions for both 4D Poincar\a'{e} broken and restored invariance. When the perfect fluid is present in the bulk, we get the master equation for the metric coefficients in the case of arbitrary bulk perfect fluid equation of state (EoS) parameters. In two particular cases of EoS, we obtain the analytic solutions for thin and thick branes. First one generalizes the well known Randall-Sundrum model with one brane to the case of the bulk anisotropic perfect fluid. In the second solution, the 4D Poincar\a'{e} invariance is restored. Here, the spacetime goes asymptotically to the anti-de Sitter one far from the thick brane.

In a multidimensional Kaluza-Klein model with Ricci-flat internal space, we study the gravitational field in the weak-field limit. This field is created by two coupled sources. In a multidimensional Kaluza-Klein model with Ricci-flat internal space, we study the gravitational field in the weak-field limit. This field is created by two coupled sources. First, this is a point-like massive body which has a dust-like equation of state in the external space and an arbitrary parameter $Ω$ of equation of state in the internal space. The second source is a static spherically symmetric massive scalar field centered at the origin where the point-like massive body is. The found perturbed metric coefficients are used to calculate the parameterized post-Newtonian (PPN) parameter $γ$. We define under which conditions $γ$ can be very close to unity in accordance with the relativistic gravitational tests in the Solar system. This can take place for both massive or massless scalar fields. For example, to have $γ\approx 1$ in the Solar system, the mass of scalar field should be $μ\gtrsim 5.05\times 10^{-49}$g $\sim 2.83\times 10^{-16}$eV. In all cases, we arrive at the same conclusion that to be in agreement with the relativistic gravitational tests, the gravitating mass should have tension: $Ω=-1/2$.

The Workshop on results of the Project Kosmomikrofizyka-2 (Astroparticle Physics) of the National Academy of Sciences (NAS) of Ukraine "Astrophysical and cosmological problems of invisible mass and dark energy in the Universe" was held on November 21-22, 2012 in the Institute for Nuclear Research, Kyiv, Ukraine (http://lpd.kinr.kiev.ua/kmf12). This Project was carried out during three years (2010-2012) by scientists from various universities and institutes of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine; it was a logical continuation of the previous scientific program of the NAS of Ukraine "Researches of structure and composition of the Universe, hidden mass and dark energy (Kosmomikrofizyka)" in 2007-2009. These programs were devoted to theoretical and experimental investigations in astronomy, astrophysics, cosmology, physics of atomic nuclei and particle physics, which are related with the problems of dark matter and dark energy in the Universe.

We consider Kaluza-Klein models with background matter in the form of a multicomponent perfect fluid. This matter provides spherical compactification of the internal space with an arbitrary number of dimensions. The gravitating source has the dust-like equation of state in the external/our space and an arbitrary equation of state (with the parameter $Ω$) in the internal space. In the single-component case, tension ($Ω=-1/2$) is the necessary condition to satisfy both the gravitational tests in the solar system and the thermodynamical observations. In the multicomponent case, we propose two models satisfying both of these observations. One of them also requires tension $Ω=-1/2$, but the second one is of special interest because is free of tension, i.e. $Ω=0$. To get this result, we need to impose certain conditions.

We investigate Kaluza-Klein models in the case of spherical compactification of the internal space with an arbitrary number of dimensions. The gravitating source has the dust-like equation of state in the external/our space and an arbitrary equation of state (with the parameter $Ω$) in the internal space. We get the perturbed (up to $O(1/c^2)$) metric coefficients. For the external space, these coefficients consist of two parts: the standard general relativity expressions plus the admixture of the Yukawa interaction. This admixture takes place only for some certain condition which is equivalent to the condition for the internal space stabilization. We demonstrate that the mass of the Yukawa interaction is defined by the mass of the gravexciton/radion. In the Solar system, the Yukawa mass is big enough for drop** the admixture of this interaction and getting good agreement with the gravitational tests for any value of $Ω$. However, the gravitating body acquires the effective relativistic pressure in the external space which vanishes only in the case of tension $Ω=-1/2$ in the internal space.
