Structure of the nucleon at leading and subleading twist in the covariant parton model
Abstract: The covariant parton model is generalized to describe quark correlators in a systematic way. Previous results are reproduced for the T-even leading-twist transverse momentum dependent parton distribution functions (TMDs), and for the first time all T-even twist-3 TMDs are evaluated in this model. Quark intrinsic motion and the link between TMDs and PDFs in covariant approach
Abstract: The relations between TMDs and PDFs are obtained from the symmetry requirement: relativistic covariance combined with rotationally symmetric parton motion in the nucleon rest frame. This requirement is applied in the covariant parton model. Using the usual PDFs as an input, we are obtaining predictions for some polarized and unpolarized TMDs.

Are there approximate relations among transverse momentum dependent distribution functions?
Abstract: Certain exact relations among transverse momentum dependent parton distribution functions due to QCD equations of motion turn into approximate ones upon the neglect of pure twist-3 terms. On the basis of available data from HERMES we test the practical usefulness of one such ``Wandzura-Wilczek-type approximation'', namely of that connecting h_{1L}^{\perp(1)a}(x) to h_L^a(x), and discuss how it c… ▽ More

Status of Sivers and Collins Single Spin Asymmetries
Abstract: The Sivers and Collins asymmetries are the most interesting Single Spin Asymmetries in semi-inclusive deeply inelastic scattering with transverse target polarization. In this talk we present our understanding of these phenomena.

Collins Effect in SIDIS and in ${\bf e^+e^-}$ Annihilation

Collins effect in semi-inclusive deeply inelastic scattering and in electron positron annihilation
Abstract: The Collins fragmentation function is extracted from HERMES data on azimuthal single spin asymmetries in semi-inclusive deeply inelastic scattering, and BELLE data on azimuthal asymmetries in electron positron annihilations. A Gaussian model is assumed for the distribution of transverse parton momenta and predictions are used from the chiral quark-soliton model for the transversity distribution… ▽ More

Transversity and the Polarized Drell-Yan Process in $p\bar{p} \to μ^{+}μ^{-}X$
Abstract: Estimates are given for the double spin asymmetry in lepton-pair production from collisions of transversely polarized protons and antiprotons for the kinematics of the recently proposed PAX experiment at GSI on the basis of predictions for the transversity distribution from the probabilistic quark-parton model developed earlier.

Spin physics program in the U70 polarized proton beam
Abstract: A possibility to accelerate a high intensity polarized proton beam up to 70 GeV at the IHEP accelerator, extract it from the main ring and deliver to several experimental setups is being studied now. We propose to study a wealth of single- and double-spin observables in various reactions using longitudinally and transverserly polarized proton beams at U70. The proposed measurements can be done a… ▽ More
