The study of the differences detected between the observed and the predicted positions of Uranus taking only the ancient planets into account led to the discovery of planet Neptune in 1846. This event remains one of the best accomplishments ever achieved in the history of Astronomy and Classical Mechanics. In this paper, we study the perturbations in the orbit of Uranus due to Neptune and its effects from a modern numerical point of view of the $N$-body problem. The effects induced by Pluto in the orbit of Neptune, as the historical search for a ninth planet in the Solar System (recently boostered again with the hypothesis of the so-called Planet Nine) back in the days was propelled by some supposed small inconsistencies in the orbit of the ice giants, are also analyzed.

The recent Gaia Data Release 3 has unveiled a catalog of over eight hundred thousand binary systems, providing orbital solutions for half of them. Since most of them are unresolved astrometric binaries, several astrophysical parameters that can be only derived from their relative orbits together with spectroscopic data, such as the individual stellar masses, remain unknown. Indeed, only the mass of the primary, $\texttt{m1}$, and a wide interval, $\texttt{[m2_lower, m2_upper]}$, for the secondary companion of main-sequence astrometric binaries have been derived to date (Gaia Collaboration et al., 2023). In order to obtain the correct values for each component, we propose an analytic algorithm to estimate the two most probable relative orbits and magnitude differences of a certain main-sequence or subgiant astrometric binary using all available Gaia data. Subsequently, both possible solutions are constrained to the one that is consistent with $\texttt{m1, m2_lower}$ and $\texttt{m2_upper}$. Moreover, we deduce not only the correct values of the individual masses for each binary but also the size of the telescope necessary to resolve their components. The workflow of our algorithm as well as the ESMORGA (Ephemeris, Stellar Masses, and relative ORbits from GAia) catalog with more than one hundred thousand individual masses, spectral types, and effective temperatures derivated from its application are also presented.

The precise determination of the physical and dynamical parameters of the HIP 109951 triple star system (WDS J22161-0705AB) which is formed by the A, Ba, and Bb components are presented. The binary nature of component B was recently confirmed by studying the radial velocities. The analysis of the system follows Al-Wardat's complex method for analyzing CVBS which employs Kurucz (Atlas9) line blanketed plane-parallel atmospheres simultaneously with an analytic method for dynamical analysis (we used Docobo's method) to calculate the parameters of this triple system. The result of our study yielded the following parameters: $T^{A}_{\rm eff}=5836\pm 80$ K, $R^{A}=1.090\pm0.039R_\odot$, $\log$g$^{A}=4.45\pm0.06$, $\mathcal{M}^{A}=1.05\pm0.16\mathcal{M}_\odot$; $T^{Ba}_{\rm eff}=5115\pm 80$ K, $R^{Ba}=0.596\pm0.05R_\odot$, $\log$ g$^{Ba}=4.60\pm0.07$, $\mathcal{M}^{Ba}=0.83\pm0.16\mathcal{M}_\odot$, $T^{Bb}_{\rm eff}=4500\pm 80$ K, $R^{Bb}=0.490\pm0.06R_\odot$, $\log$ g$^{Bb}=4.65\pm0.07$, and $\mathcal{M}^{Bb}=0.67\pm0.16\mathcal{M}_\odot$ based on the revised \textit{Hipparcos} parallax. The orbital solution gave a total mass as $\mathcal{M}=2.59\mathcal{M}_\odot$ based on Gaia parallax and $\mathcal{M}=2.15\mathcal{M}_\odot$ based on the revised \textit{Hipparcos} parallax. The synthetic spectral energy distributions (SED) and synthetic stellar photometry of the entire system and individual components are given and compared with the available observational ones. Finally, the positions of the system components on the HR diagram and the evolutionary tracks are given and their formation and the evolution of the system are discussed.

We analyze the outburst experienced by the September $\varepsilon$-Perseid meteor shower on 9 September 2013. As a result of our monitoring the atmospheric trajectory of 60 multi-station events observed over Spain was obtained and accurate orbital data were derived from them. On the basis of these orbits, we have tried to determine the likely parent body of this meteoroid stream by employing orbital dissimilarity criteria. In addition, the emission spectra produced by two events belonging to this meteor shower were also recorded. The analysis of these spectra has provided information about the chemical nature of their progenitor meteoroids. We also present an estimation of the tensile strength for these particles.

A complete astrophysical and dynamical study of the close visual binary system (CVBS) (A7V + F0V), Finsen 350, is presented. Beginning with the entire observational spectral energy distribution (SED) and the magnitude difference between the subcomponents, Al-Wardat's complex method for analyzing close visual binary stars (CVBS) was applied as a reverse method of building the individual and entire synthetic SEDs of the system. This was combined with Docobo's analytic method to calculate the new orbits. Although possible short ($\approx$ 9 years) and long period ($\approx$ 18 years) orbits could be considered taking into account the similar results of the stellar masses obtained for each of them (3.07 and 3.41 $M_{\odot}$, respectively), we confirmed that the short solution is correct. In addition, other physical, geometrical and dynamical parameters of this system such as the effective temperatures, surface gravity accelerations, absolute magnitudes, radii, the dynamical parallax, etc., are reported. The main sequence phase of both components with age around 0.79 Gy is approved.

The latest orbits for these binaries were demonstrating a great inconsistency between the systemic mass obtained through Kepler's Third Law and that calculated as a sum of their components' mass through standard mass-luminosity and mass-spectrum relationships. Our improvement allowed us to obtain consistent systemic masses for WDS 02434-6643 and WDS 09128-6055 without a need for changing the Hipparcos parallax. For the remaining 6 pairs, we suggest the use of their dynamical parallax as a reliable distance estimate unless more precise parallax is reported. Astrophysical and dynamical properties of individual objects are discussed.

We have selected a set of 17 visual binaries that demonstrate great inconsistency between the systemic mass obtained through Kepler's Third Law as compared to that calculated through standard mass-luminosity and mass-spectrum relationships. A careful inspection of orbital data and parallaxes showed that the current orbits of nine binaries (WDS 00155-1608, WDS 00174+0853, WDS 05017+2050, WDS 06410+0954, WDS 16212-2536, WDS 17336-3706, WDS 19217-1557, WDS 20312+1116, and WDS 21118+5959) do not need to be improved, instead we recommend different parallax (distance) value for them. On the other hand, we considered that eight orbits (WDS 02366+1227, WDS 02434-6643, WDS 03244-1539, WDS 08507+1800, WDS 09128-6055, WDS 11532-1540, WDS 17375+2419, and WDS 22408-0333) had to be improved. Due to various reasons mentioned in this paper, their distances should most likely be corrected unless better orbital solutions and/or more precise parallaxes are reported. To obtain consistent mass values, the use of the dynamical parallax is still recommended for 5 out of the 8 improved orbits. For WDS 02434-6643, WDS 09128-6055, and WDS 11532-1540, the improvement itself yields reasonable mass sums while maintaining π_{Hip} within a 1-2σ margin. New distance estimates for 16 stars (mainly based on the obtained dynamical parallaxes) and individual comments for all objects are presented and discussed.

The nearby high-mass star binary system Theta 1 Orionis C is the brightest and most massive of the Trapezium OB stars at the core of the Orion Nebula Cluster, and it represents a perfect laboratory to determine the fundamental parameters of young hot stars and to constrain the distance of the Orion Trapezium Cluster. Between January 2007 and March 2008, we observed T1OriC with VLTI/AMBER near-infrared (H- and K-band) long-baseline interferometry, as well as with bispectrum speckle interferometry with the ESO 3.6m and the BTA 6m telescopes (B'- and V'-band). Combining AMBER data taken with three different 3-telescope array configurations, we reconstructed the first VLTI/AMBER closure-phase aperture synthesis image, showing the T1OriC system with a resolution of approx. 2 mas. To extract the astrometric data from our spectrally dispersed AMBER data, we employed a new algorithm, which fits the wavelength-differential visibility and closure phase modulations along the H- and K-band and is insensitive to calibration errors induced, for instance, by changing atmospheric conditions. Our new astrometric measurements show that the companion has nearly completed one orbital revolution since its discovery in 1997. The derived orbital elements imply a short-period (P=11.3 yrs) and high-eccentricity orbit (e=0.6) with periastron passage around 2002.6. The new orbit is consistent with recently published radial velocity measurements, from which we can also derive the first direct constraints on the mass ratio of the binary components. We employ various methods to derive the system mass (M_system=44+/-7 M_sun) and the dynamical distance (d=410+/-20 pc), which is in remarkably good agreement with recently published trigonometric parallax measurements obtained with radio interferometry.

Based on 14 data points obtained with near-infrared speckle interferometry and covering an almost entire revolution, we present a first visual orbit for the low-mass binary system Gliese 22 AC. The quality of the orbit is largely improved with respect to previous astrometric solutions. The dynamical system mass is 0.592 +- 0.065 solar masses, where the largest part of the error is due to the Hipparcos parallax. A comparison of this dynamical mass with mass-luminosity relations on the lower main sequence and theoretical evolutionary models for low-mass objects shows that both probably underestimate the masses of M dwarfs. A mass estimate for the companion Gliese 22 C indicates that this object is a very low-mass star with a mass close to the hydrogen burning mass limit.
