We show that the probabilities of these processes are exponentially suppressed in terms of a small coupling constant $λ\ll 1$ if the multiplicity of the final state is large: $n \gg 1$. At $ n \ll λ^{-1}$ the probabilities agree with well-known perturbative results. At $ n \gg λ^{-1}$ they are dominated by loop effects and decrease exponentially with $n$, as we show for the first time.

We compute the probability of producing $n$ particles from few colliding particles in the unbroken $(3+1)$-dimensional $λφ^4$ theory. To this end we numerically implement semiclassical method of singular solutions which works at ${n \gg 1}$ in the weakly coupled regime ${λ\ll 1}$. For the first time, we obtain reliable results in the region of exceptionally large final state multiplicities ${n\gg λ^{-1}}$ where the probability decreases exponentially with $n$, ${{\cal P}(\mbox{few} \to n) \sim \exp\{f_\infty(\varepsilon) \, n\}}$, and its slope $f_{\infty}< 0$ depends on the mean kinetic energy $\varepsilon$ of produced particles. In the opposite case ${n\ll λ^{-1}}$ our data match well-known tree-level result, and they interpolate between the two limits at $n \sim λ^{-1}$. Overall, this proves exponential suppression of the multiparticle production probability at ${n\gg 1}$ and arbitrary $\varepsilon$ in the unbroken theory. Using numerical solutions, we critically analyze the mechanism for multiple Higgs boson production suggested in the literature. Application of our technique to the scalar theory with spontaneously broken symmetry can eradicate (or confirm) it in the nearest future.

High energy collisions at the High-Luminosity Large Hadron Collider (LHC) produce a large number of particles along the beam collision axis, outside of the acceptance of existing LHC experiments. The proposed Forward Physics Facility (FPF), to be located several hundred meters from the ATLAS interaction point and shielded by concrete and rock, will host a suite of experiments to probe Standard Model (SM) processes and search for physics beyond the Standard Model (BSM). In this report, we review the status of the civil engineering plans and the experiments to explore the diverse physics signals that can be uniquely probed in the forward region. FPF experiments will be sensitive to a broad range of BSM physics through searches for new particle scattering or decay signatures and deviations from SM expectations in high statistics analyses with TeV neutrinos in this low-background environment. High statistics neutrino detection will also provide valuable data for fundamental topics in perturbative and non-perturbative QCD and in weak interactions. Experiments at the FPF will enable synergies between forward particle production at the LHC and astroparticle physics to be exploited. We report here on these physics topics, on infrastructure, detector, and simulation studies, and on future directions to realize the FPF's physics potential.

We study previously unexplored possibility of triggering the first order electroweak phase transition (EWPT) by interactions of the Standard Model (SM) particles with the sector responsible for low scale supersymmetry breaking. The low-energy theory apart from the SM particles contains additional scalar degrees of freedom -- sgoldstinos -- which contribute to the effective scalar potential and thus can trigger the first order EWPT. Remarkably, the latter requires only moderate couplings in the scalar sector. The perturbative description in terms of the effective theory seems formally to be applicable upto the scale of supersymmetry breaking: the Landau pole in the scalar sector is above $10^8$-$10^9$ GeV. We calculate the gravitational wave signal generated at this transition (it can be tested, e.g. by LISA, BBO and DECIGO) and briefly discuss the collider phenomenology of this scenario.

Assuming an additional $Z_2$-breaking linear coupling of scalar curvature to the dark matter scalar (gravity portal) Refs. arXiv:1603.03696 and arXiv:1611.00725 claimed a strong parametric growth of the dark matter particle decay rate with its mass, which implies pronounced phenomenological signatures for the model. This peculiarity was attributed by the authors to the enhancement due to the presence of longitudinal gauge bosons in the final state. Quite unfortunately there were overlooked cancellations in the tree-level amplitudes. There is no miracle: all perturbative decay rates are suppressed by the strong coupling scale.

In a supersymmetric extension of the Standard Model of particle physics (SM) with low scale of supersymmetry breaking, sgoldstino of (sub)TeV mass can be observed at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) as a peak in diboson mass spectra. Moreover, as a singlet with respect to the SM gauge group, scalar sgoldstino can mix with the SM-like Higgs boson and interfere in all neutral channels providing with the promising signatures of new physics if superpartners are heavy. Sgoldstino couplings to the SM particles are determined by the pattern of soft supersymmetry breaking parameters. Here we concentrate on the cases with a noticeable sgoldstino contribution to di-Higgs channel. Having found a phenomenologically viable region in the model parameter space where scalar sgoldstino, produced at the LHC in gluon fusion, decays into a pair of the lightest Higgs boson we give predictions for corresponding cross section. Using the results of the LHC searches for scalar resonances we place bounds on the supersymmetry breaking scale $\sqrt{F}$ in this region of parameter space. Remarkably, in this region sgoldstino may also be observed in $W^+W^-$ and $ZZ$ channels, yielding independent signatures, since their signal strengths are related to that of di-Higgs channel.

The visible and dark sectors of particle physics can be connected via kinetic mixing between ordinary and hidden photons. If the latter is light its production in high energy collisions of ordinary particles proceeds via oscillations with ordinary photons similarly to the neutrino processes. Generically, the experiments are insensitive to mass of the hidden vector, if it is lighter than 1\,MeV, and it does not decay into $e^+e^-$-pair. Still, one can use the missing energy and scattering off the detector material as signatures to search for the light vectors. Presence of media suppresses production of the light vectors making the experiments insensitive to the entire model. We present analytic formulas for the light hidden photon production, propagation and detection valid for searches at colliders and beam-target experiments and apply them to estimate the impact on the sensitivities of a set of experiments --- NA64, FASER, MATHUSLA, SHiP, T2K, DUNE, NA62 --- in a zero-background case.

We show that an interaction between the layers leads to the occurrence of the so-called Fano resonance. The Fano resonance changes the shape of the ferromagnetic resonance peak. It introduces a peak asymmetry. The asymmetry type is defined by the sign of the interaction between the magnetic layers. Therefore, studying the shape of the ferromagnetic resonance peaks one can define the type of the interlayer coupling (ferromagnetic or antiferromagnetic). We show that using numerical simulations one can estimate a magnitude of the interaction by fitting the asymmetric resonance peaks.

Taking experimentally allowed benchmark values for the matter NSI parameters we show that the evolution of such neutrinos with energies at GeV scale can be considerably modified. We simulate propagation of neutrinos from the Sun to the Earth for realistic dark matter annihilation channels and find that the matter NSI can result in at most 30% correction to the signal rate of muon track events at neutrino telescopes. Still present experimental bounds on dark matter from these searches are robust in the presence of NSI within considerable part of their allowed parameter space. We reanalyze the dataset collected during the years 1998--2003 by the deep underwater neutrino telescope NT200 in the lake Baikal with the low energy threshold (10 GeV) in searches for neutrino signal from dark matter annihilations near the center of the Milky Way. Two different approaches are used in the present analysis: counting events in the cones around the direction towards the Galactic Center and the maximum likelihood method. We assume that the dark matter particles annihilate dominantly over one of the annihilation channels $b\bar{b}$, $W^+W^-$, $τ^+τ^-$, $μ^+μ^-$ or $ν\barν$. No significant excess of events towards the Galactic Center over expected neutrino background of atmospheric origin is found and we derive 90% CL upper limits on the annihilation cross section of dark matter.

We develop a consistent semiclassical method to calculate the probability of topological soliton-antisoliton pair production in collisions of elementary particles. In our method one adds an auxiliary external field pulling the soliton and antisoliton in the opposite directions. This transforms the original scattering process into a Schwinger pair creation of the solitons induced by the particle collision. One describes the Schwinger process semiclassically and recovers the original scattering probability in the limit of vanishing external field. We illustrate the method in (1+1)-dimensional scalar field model where the suppression exponents of soliton-antisoliton production in the multiparticle and two-particle collisions are computed numerically.

We consider nucleon-decay-like signatures of the hylogenesis, a variant of the antibaryonic dark matter model. For the interaction between visible and dark matter sectors through the neutron portal, we calculate the rates of dark matter scatterings off neutron which mimic neutron-decay processes $n\to νγ$ and $n\to νe^+ e^-$ with richer kinematics. We obtain bounds on the model parameters from nonobservation of the neutron decays by applying the kinematical cuts adopted in the experimental analyses. The bounds are generally (much) weaker than those coming from the recently performed study of events with a single jet of high transverse momentum and missing energy observed at the LHC. Then we suggest several new nucleon-decay like processes with two mesons in the final state and estimate (accounting for the LHC constraints) the lower limits on the nucleon lifetime with respect to these channels. The obtained values appear to be promising for probing the antibaryonic dark matter at future underground experiments like HyperK and DUNE.

We develop a consistent semiclassical description of field-theoretic collision-induced tunneling at arbitrary high collision energies. As a playground we consider a (1+1)-dimensional false vacuum decay initiated by a collision of N particles at energy E, paying special attention to the realistic case of N=2 particles. We demonstrate that the cross section of this process is exponentially suppressed at all energies. Moreover, the respective suppressesion exponent F_N(E) exhibits a specific behavior which is significant for our semiclassical method and assumed to be general: it decreases with energy, reaches absolute minimum F=F_min(N) at a certain threshold energy E=E_rt(N), and stays constant at higher energies. We show that the minimal suppression F_min(N) and threshold energy can be evaluated using a special class of semiclassical solutions which describe exponentially suppressed transitions but nevertheless evolve in real time. Importantly, we argue that the cross section at energies above E_rt(N) is computed perturbatively in the background of the latter solutions, and the terms of this perturbative expansion stay bounded in the infinite-energy limit. Transitions in the high-energy regime proceed via emission of many soft quanta with total energy E_rt; the energy excess E-E_rt remains in the colliding particles till the end of the process.

New structure data for the high-temperature diluted magnetic semiconductor Si:Mn, synthesized by laser method are presented. The higher resolution transmission electron microscopy and diffraction was applied in two crystal directions of epitaxial layers of DMS Si:Mn with elimination of the contribution from GaAs substrate and interface. It is established, that the DMS Si:Mn can be represent as compound with variable composition Si2+xMn1-x (0 <x <1), single-phase diamond like structure, high crystal perfection and the self-organized formation of the super-lattice structures with the period equal to triple the distance between the nearest (110) atomic layers and interval between (110) layers which are doped by Mn atoms and orientated along the direction of Si:Mn film growth. The Si with 15 percent of Mn (or Si2.5Mn0.5) films consist of blocks with the 15-50 nm sizes and with mutually perpendicular orientations of the super-lattice modulations. Atoms of manganese in the (110) layers, doped by these impurity, settle down in the form of strips of an one-atom thickness. These manganese strips in the given (110) layer alternate occupy about half of area of the layer (110) in the full consent with the spectral X-ray analysis and ferromagnetic resonance data.

Work is devoted to physics of current transport in a wide class of the hetero-phase granulated mediums and similar systems with set of metal or semi-conductor granules, quantum dots or potential wells in which the exit from Coulomb blockade tunneling regime can be not observable because of irreversible breakdown and destruction of structure of medium. Such systems also concern and the condensed mediums with short distanced atoms of transition elements. In article for small and average electric fields the analytical decision of a stationary problem of discrete electronic transport through a chain of as much as big number of metal granules in area Coulomb tunneling blockade is performed. It is deduced the exponential law of growth of a current with electric field in such granulated systems. The characteristic feature of discrete tunneling in such medium is the volt-ampere characteristic type I exp(V/(N+1)kT) with great value N>> 1. Examples of application of the theory for explanation of current transport in porous silicon, synthesised by ionic implantation of nitrogen in silicon layers of nitride of silicon or glass like amorphous semiconductors are resulted.

In supersymmetric extensions of the Standard Model of particle physics (SM), goldstino superpartners --- scalar and pseudoscalar sgoldstinos --- can be light enough for emerging in decays of SM particles. Sgoldstino interaction with SM fields is suppressed by the scale of supersymmetry breaking in the whole theory. Hence, searches for sgoldstinos give an opportunity to probe the underlying mechanism of supersymmetry breaking. Sgoldstino couplings to SM fields are proportional to the supersymmetry breaking parameters --- MSSM soft terms --- and therefore can lead to flavor violating processes in quark and lepton sectors. We consider flavor violating processes involving sgoldstino pair production which are driven by sgoldstino couplings proportional to squark and slepton soft mass terms, \tilde{m^2_{LL}} and \tilde{m^2_{RR}}. We find that present limits on off-diagonal entries in squark and slepton squared mass matrices allow t-, b-, c-quark and τ-lepton decays at levels available for study with existing data (BaBar, Belle, CLEOc) and in ongoing experiments (LHCb, CMS, ATLAS). In particular, we obtain the following branching ratios Br(t--> c SP)\lesssim 10^{-7}, Br(τ--> μSP) \lesssim 10^{-7}, Br(B_s--> SP) \lesssim 10^{-4}, Br(B--> K^{(*)} SP) \lesssim 10^{-4}, Br(D--> SP) \lesssim 10^{-7} with sgoldstino subsequent decays into kinematically allowed pairs of SM particles γγ, e^+e^-, μ^+μ^-, etc. Remarkably, the prominent signature of sgoldstino pair production is two muon pairs with pair momenta peaked at sgoldstino masses.

New physics coupled to the Higgs boson may hide it in the standard decay channels to be investigated at LHC. We consider the models where new invisible dominant decay modes of the Higgs boson are responsible for this hiding. We propose to study at LHC the weak boson production associated with heavy quarks: our analysis revealed that boson pair invariant mass distribution is sensitive to both mass and width of the invisible Higgs boson, if it is not too far from the weak boson pair threshold. We present tree-level results for the most relevant cases of top quarks and of bottom quarks in Standard Model extensions with large $b$-quark Yukawa coupling. We argue that QCD corrections do not spoil these results allowing for unambiguous extraction of the Higgs boson mass and width from the analysis of large enough amount of data.

We investigate neutralino dark matter in the framework of NMSSM performing a scan over its parameter space and calculating neutralino capture and annihilation rates in the Sun. We discuss the prospects of searches for neutralino dark matter in neutrino experiments depending on neutralino content and its main annihilation channel. We recalculate the upper limits on neutralino-proton elastic cross sections directly from neutrino telescopes upper bounds on annihilation rates in the Sun. This procedure has advantages as compared with corresponding recalcalations from the limits on muon flux, namely, it is independent on details of the experiment and the recalculation coefficients are universal for any kind of WIMP dark matter models. We derive 90% c.l. upper limits on neutralino-proton cross sections from the results of the Baksan Underground Scintillator Telescope.

Abstract:
With use of CompHEP package we've made the detailed estimate of the influence of double e+e- pair production by photons (DPP) on the propagation of ultra high energy electromagnetic cascade. We show that in the models in which cosmic ray photons energy reaches few thousand EeV refined DPP analysis may lead to substantial difference in predicted photon spectrum compared to previous rough estimate…

We present an extension of the minimal split supersymmetry model, which is capable of explaining the baryon asymmetry of the Universe. Instead of MSSM we start from NMSSM and split its spectrum in such a way that the low energy theory contains neutral particles, in addition to the content of minimal split supersymmetry. They trigger the strongly first order electroweak phase transition (EWPT) and provide an additional source of CP-violation. In this model, we estimate the amount of the baryon asymmetry produced during EWPT, using WKB approximation for CP-violating sources in diffusion equations. We also examine the contribution of CP-violating interactions to the electron and neutron electric dipole moments and estimate the production of the neutralino dark matter. We find that both phenomenological and cosmological requirements can be fulfilled in this model.

To reach this goal we are going to carry out the search for the scalar Goldstone boson in the neutrinoless muon decay mu+ to e+ and alpha. The asymmetry of the muon decay near the high energy edge of Michel spectrum is to be measured. To examine previous TRIUMF data the experiment FAMILON is prepared at the surface muon beam of JINR (Dubna) accelerator. The setup consist of the precision magnetic spectrometer and the device for muSR - analysis.
