Centrality dependence of Lévy-stable two-pion Bose-Einstein correlations in $\sqrt{s_{_{NN}}}=200$ GeV Au$+$Au collisions
Abstract: The PHENIX experiment measured the centrality dependence of two-pion Bose-Einstein correlation functions in $\sqrt{s_{_{NN}}}=200$~GeV Au$+$Au collisions at the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider at Brookhaven National Laboratory. The data are well represented by Lévy-stable source distributions. The extracted source parameters are the correlation-strength parameter $λ$, the Lévy index of stability… ▽ More

Jet modification via $π^0$-hadron correlations in Au$+$Au collisions at $\sqrt{s_{_{NN}}}=200$ GeV
Abstract: High-momentum two-particle correlations are a useful tool for studying jet-quenching effects in the quark-gluon plasma. Angular correlations between neutral-pion triggers and charged hadrons with transverse momenta in the range 4--12~GeV/$c$ and 0.5--7~GeV/$c$, respectively, have been measured by the PHENIX experiment in 2014 for Au$+$Au collisions at $\sqrt{s_{_{NN}}}=200$~GeV. Model-independent Odderon results based on new TOTEM data on elastic pp collisions at 8 TeV
Abstract: Evaluating the H(x, s; pp) scaling function of elastic proton-proton (pp) collisions from recent TOTEM data at sqrt(s) = 8 TeV and comparing it with the same function of elastic proton-antiproton (pp-) data of the D0 collaboration at sqrt(s) = 1.96 TeV, we find, from this comparison alone, an at least 3.79 sigma {\signal} of Odderon exchange. Simple Lévy-$α$ stable model analysis of elastic $pp$ and $p\bar p$ low-$|t|$ data from SPS to LHC energies
Abstract: A simple Lévy-$α$ stable (SL) model is used to describe the data on elastic $pp$ and $p\bar p$ scattering at low-$|t|$ from SPS energies up to LHC energies. The SL model is demonstrated to describe the data with a strong non-exponential feature in a statistically acceptable manner. The energy dependence of the parameters of the model is determined and analyzed. The Lévy $α$ parameter of the model… ▽ More

Scaling behaviour of $dN/dy$ in high-energy collisions
Abstract: From a recently found family of analytic, finite and accelerating 1+1-dimensional solutions to perfect fluid relativistic hydrodynamics, we derive simple and powerful formulae to describe the rapidity and pseudorapidity density distributions. Radiation pattern and source size of particles in nanoplasmonic fusion

Transverse momentum dependent forward neutron single spin asymmetries in transversely polarized $p$$+$$p$ collisions at $\sqrt{s}=200$ GeV
Abstract: In 2015, the PHENIX collaboration has measured very forward ($η>6.8$) single-spin asymmetries of inclusive neutrons in transversely polarized proton-proton and proton-nucleus collisions at a center of mass energy of 200 GeV. A previous publication from this data set concentrated on the nuclear dependence of such asymmetries. In this measurement the explicit transverse-momentum dependence of inclus… ▽ More

Transverse single-spin asymmetries of midrapidity $π^0$ and $η$ mesons in polarized $p$$+$$p$ collisions at $\sqrt{s}=200$ GeV
Abstract: We present a measurement of the transverse single-spin asymmetry for $π^0$ and $η$ mesons in $p^\uparrow$$+$$p$ collisions in the pseudorapidity range $|η|<0.35$ and at a center-of-mass energy of 200 GeV with the PHENIX detector at the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider. Production of $π^0$ and $η$ mesons in U$+$U collisions at $\sqrt{s_{_{NN}}}=192$ GeV
Abstract: The PHENIX experiment at the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider measured $π^0$ and $η$ mesons at midrapidity in U$+$U collisions at $\sqrt{s_{_{NN}}}=192$ GeV in a wide transverse momentum range. Measurements were performed in the $π^0(η)\rightarrowγγ$ decay modes. A strong suppression of $π^0$ and $η$ meson production at high transverse momentum was observed in central U$+$U collisions relative to b… ▽ More

Observation of Odderon Effects at LHC energies -- A Real Extended Bialas-Bzdak Model Study
Abstract: The unitarily extended Bialas-Bzdak model of elastic proton-proton scattering is applied, without modifications, to describe the differential cross-section of elastic proton-antiproton collisions in the TeV energy range, and to extrapolate these differential cross-sections to LHC energies. In this model-dependent study we find that the differential cross-sections of elastic proton-proton collision… ▽ More

Abstract: We provide a statistically significant observation of the elusive Odderon exchange, based on novel and model-independent analysis of the scaling properties of the differential cross sections of elastic $pp$ and $p\bar p$ scattering in the TeV energy range. We report the statistical significance of the observed Odderon signal at the level of 6.26$σ$.

Proton Holography -- Discovering Odderon from Scaling Properties of Elastic Scattering
Abstract: We investigate the scaling properties of elastic scattering data at ISR and LHC energies and find that the significance of an Odderon observation is larger than the discovery threshold of 5$σ$. As an unexpected by-product of these investigations, for certain experimentally relevant cases, we also conjecture the possibility of proton holography with the help of elastic proton-proton scattering.

New, multipole solutions of relativistic, viscous hydrodynamics
Abstract: We present a new class of exact fireball solutions of relativistic dissipative hydrodynamics. We describe new exact solutions both for the relativistic Navier-Stokes and for the Israel-Stewart theory, for arbitrary shear and bulk viscosities, as well as for other dissipative coefficients. The common property of these solutions is the presence of the relativistic Hubble flow. Our results generalize… ▽ More
