Combined neutron reflectometry and rheology
Abstract: We have combined neutron reflectometry with rheology in order to investigate the solid boundary of liquids and polymers under shear deformation. Our approach allows one to apply a controlled stress to a material while resolving the structural arrangements on the sub nanometer length scale with neutron reflectivity, off-specular and small angle scattering at the same time. The specularly reflected… ▽ More

The D0 Silicon Microstrip Tracker
Abstract: This paper describes the mechanical design, the readout chain, the production, testing and the installation of the Silicon Microstrip Tracker of the D0 experiment at the Fermilab Tevatron collider. In addition, description of the performance of the detector during the experiment data collection between 2001 and 2010 is provided.

CP asymmetry in the Higgs decay into the top pair due to the stop mixing
Abstract: We investigate a potentially large CP violating asymmetry in the decay of a neutral scalar or pseudoscalar Higgs boson into the top-anti-top pair. The source of the CP nonconservation is the complex mixing in the (left-right) stop sector. One of the interesting consequence is the different rates of the Higgs boson decays into CP conjugate polarized states.

CP Violation in the Width Difference of the Scalar Electron Decay due to Complex Gaugino Masses
Abstract: We calculate the width difference of the scalar electron decay, $Γ(\tilde e_L \to e_Lω) - Γ({\bar{\tilde e}}_L \to \bar e_Lω)$ in the softly broken supersymmetrized standard model. The CP asymmetry is assumed to arise from the complex gaugino masses. Even in limit that the electron mass $m_e$ is vanishing, the difference can be of the order of $α$.
