This article presents the early results of synchronous multiwavelength observations of one of the brightest gamma-ray bursts (GRBs) GRB 160625B with the detailed continuous fast optical photometry of its optical counterpart obtained by MASTER and with hard X-ray and gamma-ray emission, obtained by the Lomonosov and Konus-Wind spacecraft. The detailed photometry led us to detect the quasi-periodical emission components in the intrinsic optical emission. As a result of our analysis of synchronous multiwavelength observations, we propose a three-stage collapse scenario for this long and bright GRB. We suggest that quasiperiodic fluctuations may be associated with forced precession of a self-gravitating rapidly rotating superdense body (spinar), whose evolution is determined by a powerful magnetic field. The spinar's mass allows it to collapse into a black hole at the end of evolution.

The RELEC scientific instrumentation onboard the Vernov spacecraft launched on July 8, 2014, included the DRGE gamma-ray and electron spectrometer. This instrument incorporates a set of scintillation phoswich detectors, including four identical X-ray and gamma-ray detectors in the energy range from 10 keV to 3 MeV with a total area of $\sim$500 $cm^{2}$ directed toward the nadir, and an electron spectrometer containing three mutually orthogonal detector units with a geometry factor of $\sim$2 $cm^{2} sr$, which is also sensitive to X-rays and gamma-rays. The goal of the space experiment with the DRGE instrument was to investigate phenomena with fast temporal variability, in particular, terrestrial gamma-ray flashes (TGFs) and magnetospheric electron precipitations. However, the detectors of the DRGE instrument could record cosmic gamma-ray bursts (GRBs) and allowed one not only to perform a detailed analysis of the gamma-ray variability but also to compare the time profiles with the measurements made by other instruments of the RELEC scientific instrumentation (the detectors of optical and ultraviolet flashes, the radio-frequency and low-frequency analyzers of electromagnetic field parameters). We present the results of our observations of cosmic GRB 141011A and GRB 141104A, compare the parameters obtained in the GBM/Fermi and KONUSWind experiments, and estimate the redshifts and Eiso for the sources of these GRBs. The detectability of GRBs and good agreement between the independent estimates of their parameters obtained in various experiments are an important factor of the successful operation of similar detectors onboard the Lomonosov spacecraft.

We investigate the properties of a set of solar flares originating from a single active region (AR) that exhibit QPPs, and look for signs of the QPP periods relating to AR properties. The AR studied, best known as NOAA 12192, was unusually long-lived and produced 181 flares. Data from the GOES, EVE, Fermi, Vernov and NoRH observatories were used to determine if QPPs were present in the flares. For the soft X-ray GOES and EVE data, the time derivative of the signal was used. Power spectra of the time series data (without any form of detrending) were inspected, and flares with a peak above the 95% confidence level in the spectrum were labelled as having candidate QPPs. The confidence levels were determined taking account of uncertainties and the possible presence of red noise. AR properties were determined using HMI line of sight magnetograms. A total of 37 flares (20% of the sample) show good evidence of having QPPs, and some of the pulsations can be seen in data from multiple instruments and in different wavebands. The QPP periods show a weak correlation with the flare amplitude and duration, but this may be due to an observational bias. A stronger correlation was found between the QPP period and duration of the QPP signal, which can be partially but not entirely explained by observational constraints. No correlations were found with the AR area, bipole separation, or average magnetic field strength. The fact that a substantial fraction of the flare sample showed evidence of QPPs using a strict detection method with minimal processing of the data demonstrates that these QPPs are a real phenomenon, which cannot be explained by the presence of red noise or the superposition of multiple unrelated flares. The lack of correlation between the QPP periods and AR properties implies that the small-scale structure of the AR is important, and/or that different QPP mechanisms act in different cases.

The Ultra-Fast Flash Observatory pathfinder (UFFO-p) is a new space mission dedicated to detect Gamma-Ray Bursts (GRBs) and rapidly follow their afterglows in order to provide early optical/ultraviolet measurements. A GRB location is determined in a few seconds by the UFFO Burst Alert & Trigger telescope (UBAT) employing the coded mask imaging technique and the detector combination of Yttrium Oxyorthosilicate (YSO) scintillating crystals and multi-anode photomultiplier tubes. The results of the laboratory tests of UBAT's functionality and performance are described in this article. The detector setting, the pixel-to-pixel response to X-rays of different energies, the imaging capability for <50 keV X-rays, the localization accuracy measurements, and the combined test with the Block for X-ray and Gamma-Radiation Detection (BDRG) scintillator detector to check the efficiency of UBAT are all described. The UBAT instrument has been assembled and integrated with other equipment on UFFO-p and should be launched on board the Lomonosov satellite in late-2015.

We present motivations for and study feasibility of a small, rapid optical to IR response gamma ray burst (GRB) space observatory. By analyzing existing GRB data, we give realistic detection rates for X-ray and optical/IR instruments of modest size under actual flight conditions. Given new capabilities of fast optical/IR response (about 1 s to target) and simultaneous multi-band imaging, such an observatory can have a reasonable event rate, likely leading to new science. Requiring a Swift-like orbit, duty cycle, and observing constraints, a Swift-BAT scaled down to 190 square cm of detector area would still detect and locate about 27 GRB per yr. for a trigger threshold of 6.5 sigma. About 23 percent of X-ray located GRB would be detected optically for a 10 cm diameter instrument (about 6 per yr. for the 6.5 sigma X-ray trigger).

The pulsation flux components of A0535+26 and GS1722-36 X-ray emission were revealed at significant level. For other observed pulsars the upper limits of pulsation intensity were obtained. The mean pulsation profiles of A0535+26 in different energy ranges as well as the energy spectra were obtained at different stages of outburst decreasing. The pulsation intensity-period behavior does not contradict the well-known correlation between spin-up rate and X-ray flux, while the stable character of the energy spectrum power index indicates on the absence of thermal component. The energy spectrum and mean pulsation profiles were also obtained for one time interval of GS1722-36 observations. The upper limits of pulsation fluxes obtained for other observed transient pulsars at the orbital phases more than 0.14 correspond the quiescent state or final stage of the first type outburst.

Instability of the structure of the first one results from higher magnitude of the Se2- ion radius in comparison with the O2- radius. The second one forms quasi one-dimensional structures and is rather inpractical. The electron density and the effective mass are estimated for some stoichiometric and non-stoichiometric (nano-composite) high temperature superconductors, which have some peculiar features. Large effective masses can indicate existance of polarons (bipolarons) in such systems. Some new superconductors MgxWO3.

Traditionally, when one describes the crystallographic structure of oxides, the oxygen ion radius r02 is assumed to be approximately equal to 1.4A. The oxygen ions occupy in this case 80-90% of the crystal volume. Metal atoms are considered then as ions playing a role of donors with rather small radius of (0.5 - 0.8) A. However, the atomic packing picture and, therefore, physical properties such as electric conductivity and superconductivity of oxides will be essentially different, if we assume r02- ~ 0.56 A. Such magnitude of the radius is known from the quantum mechanics calculations [2]. According to this picture, 80-90 % of the crystal volume is occupied by the metal atom orbitals with radius (1.3-1.9) A, while the oxygen ions play a role of acceptors, which reduce occupancy of these orbitals ("indirect" dilution of the metal). A "direct" dilution of metals takes place in stoichiometric matrices. When r02-~0.56 A, channels with diameter 3.6 A present in the hexagonal matrix Ag3Pb2H2O6 directed along the "c" axis.
The channels are filled by chains of the Ag2 molecules with atomic diameter of 2.6 A and the molecule concentration n_B = 25.6 10^20 cm^-3.
The Bose-Einstein condensation (BEC) temperature T_cB ~ 400K is calculated for the electron effective mass value m*=7.5m_e, where m_e is the isolated electron mass. Three-dimensional networks of Na2 chains form in Na solutions in NH3 and WO3 as well (respectively, with n_B=4.71 10^20 cm^-3;
T_c sim 180K; m*=5.0m_e and n_B=4.74 10^20 cm^-3; T_c sim 91K; m*=10m_e). Close magnitudes of the Ag2 and Na2 chains parameters respectively in NH3 and WO3 favors the opinion that all these structures have a composite structure and similar mechanisms of the high temperature superconductivity.

Properties of oxides are interpreted as a result of existence of the virtual sublattices formed by the atomic quantum states. An infinite cluster with the superconductivity of the Bose-Einstein condensate kind can be formed in the ground state sublattice at certain oxigen atoms concentration in the effectively diluted system of metal atoms (above the percolation threshold). Then the electron pairs concentration n/2 can be much less than the metal atoms concentration N in the oxide. The similar situation takes place in metals with superconductivity of the BCS type. Above the percolation threshold the superconductivity Tc may be limited by the magnetic properties of the oxigen 2p4quantum state sublattice. Data on the critical current density allow us to estimate the electronic pair density n/2 and to obtain an information concerning the superconductivity nature.

Superconductivity (Tc), like any other property of a condensate, depends critically on the concentration of atoms. "Physical" dilution of metals exists in nonstoichiometric compounds. In such stoichiometric compounds as oxides, oxygen initiates "chemical" dilution of the metal, but its efficiency can be estimated only if the real radius of the oxygen ion, r0 ~ 0.5 A, is used in the calculation. The ground-state radii of metal atoms rm ~ (1.3--2.0 A) >> r0, so that atoms of metals occupy in the lattice ~90% of the total volume. Therefore, the lattice parameter and the electronic properties are determined by the metal-atom ground states. (For TiO2, the parameter c = 2.95 A ~ 2rTi = 2.94 A; for TiO, a*sqrt(2) = 5.99 A ~ 4rTi = 5.90 A; for BaTiO3, c = 4.05 A ~ 2rBa = 4.12 A; for Y-Ba-Cu-O, c = 11.68 A ~ (4rBa + 2rY) = 11.63 A, and so on.) Each atomic quantum state can be identified with a specific physical property of the condensate. As a result of superposition of the ground and ionic states of each metal atom, the fraction of the ground states decreases at the expense of the oxygen-excited ionic ones
(thus reducing the effective concentration of atoms). The bands narrow down (in the limit, to the electron localization length), with the metal becoming an insulator, as is the case, for instance, with YBa2Cu3O8-x as x decreases from xM to 0. Conceivably, reducing the lattice deficiency in oxygen by saturating part of its valence bonds with H, Li, or B atoms could increase the Tc (YBa2Cu3O7-x ~ YBa2Cu3O7-x(1 + x)H2O). "Self-dilution" of lattices of excited atoms by ground-state atoms was observed to occur in Pd and inert gases.

We accept as particle radii the positions of the principal maxima in the radial distribution functions of the charge density, which are very close to the known covalent and metallic radii of atoms while differing strongly from the traditional ionic radii. The graphic pattern of atomic packing in the lattices reveals a number of features inherent in nonstoichiometric compounds. The network of atoms Y and Ba in medium Cu-O and of atoms Na in medium WO3 may be considered not as a dopant but rather as the second component of the nanocomposite. The scheme of the onset of the superconducting state and possible methods of its verification are discussed.

For all the observed periodic processes the mean phase profiles (light curves) in the different energy ranges were obtained. The mean phase profiles of most of the observed periodic sources differ from both sine and purely eclipse form. Among six sources with day ranges of period at least three were identified with X-ray Novas - black hole candidates: 152 h (H1705-25, Nov.Oph., 1977), 62 h (GRO J 1655-40, Nov. Sco., 1994), 13.3 h (4U1543-47). The results of the GRO J 1655-40 and 4U1543-47 observations in the Prognoz-9 and GRIF "Mir" experiments were compared with the observational data obtained in space observatories CGRO,RXTE, BeppoSax. It should be noted that the orbital periodicity is revealed in the hard emission of the X-ray transient - black hole candidates GRO J 1655-40 and 4U1543-47 even in the epochs between outbursts. Periodic processes with day ranges of periods can be typical for the transient source like X-ray Nova - black-hole candidate. Such periodicity is orbital but its origin is not connected with eclipses of the compact companion of a binary system. Periodic processes in soft and hard X-rays can be associated with orbital motion of binary system companions, but the physical mechanisms and the regions of generation of soft and hard X-rays can be quite different.

One of the reasons for the lack of understanding of both the mechanisms underlying the HTSC phenomenon and of the instability of materials with Tc > 300 K may be the widely accepted but wrong ideas about the types of chemical bonding in a substance and the radii of the atoms and ions. A revision of these concepts started in the beginning of the XX century in connection with the investigation of non-stoichiometric compounds (the berthollides) but did not reach a critical level until recently. Most of the HTSC materials, however, are actually non-stoichiometric nanocomposites, whose components "dilute" or "stretch" one another. Each component resides in an "intermediate" state, which still remains poorly studied. For instance, in a system of particles having two paired electrons each, the unbroken electron pairs may start tunneling at a certain "medium" concentration with the system becoming a Bose superconductor (the state between the insulator and the metal with BCS superconductivity). For univalent atoms (Na,Ag), however, such possibility realizes neither in intermediate nor in the final state. Univalent metals are not superconductors. In the berthollides, however, a possible Jahn-Teller-Peierls-type instability may give rise to formation of diatomic molecules (Na2, Ag2)with electron pairs, and superconductivity can set in. It is possibly such systems that were obtained by chance in experiments with univalent components and reported to have Tc of up to 371 K. Structures of a number of HTSC materials are considered.

There exists a class of non-stoichiometric materials (berthollides) that can be considered as constituted by two sublattices, which have specific physicochemical properties. These properties can be essentially modified by even rather weak interaction between these components. One of them can be regarded as a rigid matrix, while another one as a filling in the form of isolated atoms, molecules or clusters. Structures containing voids of the diameter up to D ~ (1 - 2)nm in diameter in the stoichiometric sublattice belong to this class of compounds. These voids are filled by the second component (of diameter d_{0}), which can be compressed or stretched because of the sublattice parameters misfit. A stretched matter (D - d_{0} = h > 0) can exist in a unique intermediate state between the metal and the dielectric; this state cannot be implemented by another way. The period doubling occurs and a weak modulation of the metal lattice constant leads to forming not only the energy gap, but the bound electronic states of the molecular type with two paired electrons as well. Validity of this model with the Peierls-type lattice instability for explanation of the well known experimental data on superconducting transition temperature (T_{c}) in such systems (fullerides, perovskite-type compounds like Na-WO_{3}, high temperature superconductors) is considered in this work. The transition temperature T_{c} of fullerides is proportional to h/D; for the tungsten-bronzes with Na, Rb, or Cs, T_{c} > 0 for h > 0, and T_{c} ~ 0 for h < 0.

The paper discusses a model of Van der Waals crystals in which band-gap structures do not form. An effect of strong and chaotic electron-electron repulsion, which was excluded from consideration in the traditional approach, is taken into account. A condensate exists as a result of a dynamic equilibrium among atoms acted upon by constant Van der Waals forces and periodically forming and disappearing covalent bonding. One part of atoms is, on the average, in the ground, and the other, in excited state, to form diatomic virtual molecules. Treated in terms of this pseudoclassical model, the interatomic distances, binding energies, volumes, and pressures at which metallization, for instance, of inert gases and hydrogen, sets in is described by simple relations involving only two spectroscopic parameters of atoms (molecules). Applying pressure to a VdW crystals transfers it from the insulator first to a Bose superconductor, and after that, to a Fermi metal. An empirical relation $T_c \sim N^{2/3}$ between the superconductivity transition temperature $T_c$ and the particles concentration $N$ in chalcogens under pressure is considered as an example of such situation.

High-T_c Superconductivity of van der Waals Condensates

The paper considers the possibility of superconductivity setting in when the distance a_B between molecules (atoms) is such that a_F < a_B < a_W, where a_F and a_W are the equilibrium separations in Fermi metals and van der Waals insulators. The last has no band sructure. This is the binding energy region 40--60 kJ/mol. However, neither stretch of metals ("dilution" by insulators) nor compression of insulators to a=a_B produce substances stable under normal conditions. It was proposed to stabilize such substances prepared of insulators by adsorbing their atoms (molecules) on metal catalysts to obtain (Metal)(Insulator)_X-type systems for X > 1. The well-known method of metal sputtering in a gaseous atmosphere has used to successfully obtain such "sorption compounds" and collect with magnetic funnels clusters of diamagnetic particles kept suspended in a magnetic field gradient ~100 G/cm at 300 K (the levitation effect).

A simple model of the molecular crystal of $N$ atoms as a statistical mixture in real space of $NX$ atoms in excited and $N(1-X)$ atoms in well localized ground state is considered. The phase coherence of the atomic wave functions is suppose to be absent. A bond energy of crystal is supposed to be a result of the pair interaction of $NX$ excited atoms. These molecular type pair excitations do not interact one with another before the metallization, and do not contribute to the pressure. Nevertheless, the pressure of such kind of crystals is determined by the interatomic distances, and by the binding energy of pairs. The possibility of the insulator-superconductor transition of such a ``gas'' of $NX/2$ pairs, ``dissolved'' among $N(1-X)$ atoms in ground state is discussed. This kind of transition is supposed to occur in the oxigen $O_2$, in the sulphur $S$, and, possibly, in the xenon $Xe$ crystals under pressure. The same kind of transition is likely to take place in HTSC materials, metal-ammonia and hydrogen-palladium solutions under normal conditions, due to similarity of some of their properties with the corresponding ones of molecular crystals.

It is shown that the rapid increase of the superconducting transition temperature $T_c$ of sulphur with increasing pressure above 93 GPa does not contradict with some hypothetical ``electronic'' mechanism of superconductivity with participation of the electron interaction energy fluctuations. Such ``electronic'' mechanism is supposed to be intrinsic property of the molecular condensates and corresponds to very high $T_c$. The low $T_c$ of sulphur (10 -17)K is likely connected with the magnetic properties of the sulphur atoms and molecules. The equation of state for sulphur is obtained. The molar volume of sulphur at metallization is 10 cm}$^3${/mol. The principal difference between the ''physical'' and the ''chemical'' type bonds are discussed. Under some pressure one bond type is changed by another and}${T}_c${may have an extremum (transition from the Bose condensation to the BCS superconductivity).

The Herzfeld criterion of metallization well corresponds to the Mott transition criterion and to the percolation threshold. For metallic xenon concentration of the molecular type excitations corresponds to the Bose condensation temperature $T_C\sim 4000K$. The BCS formula gives $T_c\sim 5000K$. If phonons are changed by fluctuations of interatomic interaction energy. A simple relations between the parameters of atoms at metallization has been found.
