We present a detailed investigation of photometric, spectroscopic, and polarimetric observations of the Type II SN 2023ixf. The early detection of highly-ionized flash features, rapid ascent in ultraviolet flux coupled with the blueward shift in near-ultraviolet colors and temperature provides compelling evidence for a delayed shock breakout from a confined dense circumstellar matter (CSM) envelo** the progenitor star. The temporal evolution of polarization in the SN 2023ixf phase revealed three distinct peaks in polarization evolution at 1.4 d, 6.4 d, and 79.2 d, indicating an asymmetric dense CSM, an aspherical shock front and clumpiness in the low-density extended CSM, and an aspherical inner ejecta/He-core. SN 2023ixf displayed two dominant axes, one along the CSM-outer ejecta and the other along the inner ejecta/He-core, showcasing the independent origin of asymmetry in the early and late evolution. The argument for an aspherical shock front is further strengthened by the presence of a high-velocity broad absorption feature in the blue wing of the Balmer features in addition to the P-Cygni absorption post 16 d. Hydrodynamical light curve modeling indicated a progenitor mass of 10 solar mass with a radius of 470 solar radius, explosion energy of 2e51 erg, and 0.06 solar mass of 56Ni. The modeling also indicated a two-zone CSM: a confined dense CSM extending up to 5e14 cm, with a mass-loss rate of 1e-2 solar mass per year, and an extended CSM spanning from 5e14 cm to 1e16 cm with a mass-loss rate of 1e-4 solar mass per year. The early nebular phase observations display an axisymmetric line profile of [OI] and red-ward attenuation of the emission of Halpha post 125 days, marking the onset of dust formation.

We conducted a photometric and kinematic analysis of the young open cluster NGC 2345 using CCD \emph{UBV} data from 2-m Himalayan Chandra Telescope (HCT), \emph{Gaia} Data Release 3 (DR3), 2MASS, and the APASS datasets. We found 1732 most probable cluster members with membership probability higher than 70$\%$. The fundamental and structural parameters of the cluster are determined based on the cluster members. The mean proper motion of the cluster is estimated to be $μ_αcosδ$ = ${-1.34}\pm0.20$ and $μ_δ$= $1.35\pm 0.21$ mas $yr^{-1}$. Based on the radial density profile, the estimated radius is $\sim$ 12.8 arcmin (10.37 pc). Using color-color and color-magnitude diagrams, we estimate the reddening, age, and distance to be $0.63\pm0.04$ mag, 63 $\pm$ 8 Myr, and 2.78 $\pm$ 0.78 kpc, respectively. The mass function slope for main-sequence stars is determined as $1.2\pm 0.1$. The mass function slope in the core, halo, and overall region indicates a possible hint of mass segregation. The cluster's dynamical relaxation time is 177.6 Myr, meaning ongoing mass segregation, with complete equilibrium expected in 100-110 Myr. Apex coordinates are determined as $-40^{\circ}.89 \pm 0.12, -44^{\circ}.99 \pm 0.15$. The cluster's orbit in the Galaxy suggests early dissociation in field stars due to its close proximity to the Galactic disk.

RF radiation spectrum is central to wireless and radar systems among numerous high-frequency device technologies. Here, we demonstrate sensing of RF signals in the technologically relevant 2.4 GHz range utilizing vanadium dioxide (VO2), a quantum material that has garnered significant interest for its insulator-to-metal transition. We find the electrical resistance of both stoichiometric as well as off-stoichiometric vanadium oxide films can be modulated with RF wave exposures from a distance. The response of the materials to the RF waves can be enhanced by either increasing the power received by the sample or reducing channel separation. We report a significant ~73% drop in resistance with a 5 μm channel gap of the VO2 film at a characteristic response time of 16 microseconds. The peak sensitivity is proximal to the phase transition temperature boundary that can be engineered via do** and crystal chemistry. Dynamic sensing measurements highlight the films' rapid response and broad-spectrum sensitivity. Engineering electronic phase boundaries in correlated electron systems could offer new capabilities in emerging communication technologies.

Here, using hydrogen (H) donor do**, we modify the room temperature metallic phase of a perovskite nickelate NdNiO3 into an insulating phase with both metastable dipolar polarization and space-charge polarization. We then demonstrate transient negative differential capacitance in thin film capacitors. The space-charge polarization caused by long-range movement and trap** of protons dominates when the electric field exceeds the threshold value. First-principles calculations suggest the polarization originates from the polar structure created by H do**. We find that polarization decays within ~1 second which is an interesting temporal regime for neuromorphic computing hardware design, and we implement the transient characteristics in a neural network to demonstrate unsupervised learning. These discoveries open new avenues for designing novel ferroelectric materials and electrets using light-ion do**.

Recent observations and simulations reveal that the circumgalactic medium (CGM) surrounding galaxies is multiphase, with the gas temperatures spanning a wide range at most radii, $\sim 10^4\ {\rm K}$ to the virial temperature ($\sim 10^6$ K for Milky Way). Traditional CGM models using simple density profiles are inadequate at reproducing observations that indicate a broad temperature range. Alternatively, a model based on probability distribution functions (PDFs) with parameters motivated by simulations can better match multi-wavelength observations. In this work, we use log-normal distributions, commonly seen in the simulations of the multiphase interstellar and circumgalactic media, to model the multiphase CGM. We generalize the isothermal background model by Faerman et al. 2017 to include more general CGM profiles. We extend the existing probabilistic models from 1D-PDFs in temperature to 2D-PDFs in density-temperature phase space and constrain its parameters using a Milky Way-like {\tt Illustris TNG50-1} halo. We generate various synthetic observables such as column densities of different ions, UV/X-ray spectra, and dispersion and emission measures. X-ray and radio (Fast Radio Burst) observations mainly constrain the hot gas properties. However, interpreting cold/warm phase diagnostics is not straightforward since these phases are patchy, with inherent variability in intercepting these clouds along arbitrary lines of sight. We provide a tabulated comparison of model predictions with observations and plan to expand this into a comprehensive compilation of models and data. Our modeling provides a simple analytic framework that is useful for describing important aspects of the multiphase CGM.

Design of hardware based on biological principles of neuronal computation and plasticity in the brain is a leading approach to realizing energy- and sample-efficient artificial intelligence and learning machines. An important factor in selection of the hardware building blocks is the identification of candidate materials with physical properties suitable to emulate the large dynamic ranges and varied timescales of neuronal signaling. Previous work has shown that the all-or-none spiking behavior of neurons can be mimicked by threshold switches utilizing phase transitions. Here we demonstrate that devices based on a prototypical metal-insulator-transition material, vanadium dioxide (VO2), can be dynamically controlled to access a continuum of intermediate resistance states. Furthermore, the timescale of their intrinsic relaxation can be configured to match a range of biologically-relevant timescales from milliseconds to seconds. We exploit these device properties to emulate three aspects of neuronal analog computation: fast (~1 ms) spiking in a neuronal soma compartment, slow (~100 ms) spiking in a dendritic compartment, and ultraslow (~1 s) biochemical signaling involved in temporal credit assignment for a recently discovered biological mechanism of one-shot learning. Simulations show that an artificial neural network using properties of VO2 devices to control an agent navigating a spatial environment can learn an efficient path to a reward in up to 4 fold fewer trials than standard methods. The phase relaxations described in our study may be engineered in a variety of materials, and can be controlled by thermal, electrical, or optical stimuli, suggesting further opportunities to emulate biological learning.

Cloud services are omnipresent and critical cloud service failure is a fact of life. In order to retain customers and prevent revenue loss, it is important to provide high reliability guarantees for these services. One way to do this is by predicting outages in advance, which can help in reducing the severity as well as time to recovery. It is difficult to forecast critical failures due to the rarity of these events. Moreover, critical failures are ill-defined in terms of observable data. Our proposed method, Outage-Watch, defines critical service outages as deteriorations in the Quality of Service (QoS) captured by a set of metrics. Outage-Watch detects such outages in advance by using current system state to predict whether the QoS metrics will cross a threshold and initiate an extreme event. A mixture of Gaussian is used to model the distribution of the QoS metrics for flexibility and an extreme event regularizer helps in improving learning in tail of the distribution. An outage is predicted if the probability of any one of the QoS metrics crossing threshold changes significantly. Our evaluation on a real-world SaaS company dataset shows that Outage-Watch significantly outperforms traditional methods with an average AUC of 0.98. Additionally, Outage-Watch detects all the outages exhibiting a change in service metrics and reduces the Mean Time To Detection (MTTD) of outages by up to 88% when deployed in an enterprise cloud-service system, demonstrating efficacy of our proposed method.

Vertical field effect transistors (VOFETs) can offer short channel architecture which can further enhance the performance at low operating voltages which makes it more viable for organic electronics applications. VOFETs can be prepared with low-cost techniques which reduce the high processing costs and can also operate at high current density and relatively higher frequencies. To further improve the performance, high current density, and operating frequency the physics of charge carrier transport should be understood well with the simulation. The main problem with VOFET is the high off-current which is inevitable due to conduction from source to drain contact. There have been many efforts in reducing the off-state current by the addition of an insulating layer on top of the source electrode, which further increases the complexity and cost of processing. Simulations based on device geometry, contact barriers, and organic semiconductor parameters are carried out to study the charge carrier transport in VOFET. The simulation results show that the most important factor to enhance the performance is the device geometry or architecture, which requires a specific fill factor, a ratio between the exposed gate dielectric, and the total length with the source electrode. Optimized VOFET architecture is then simulated for variation in contact barrier and semiconductor parameters, which show some enhancement in performance but also a rise in off-state current density.

We examine the long-term stability (on decade-like time scales) of optical `high polarization' (HP) state with $p_{opt}$ $> 3\%$, which commonly occurs in flat-spectrum (i.e., beamed) radio quasars (FSRQs) and is a prominent marker of blazar state. Using this clue, roughly a quarter of the FSRQ population has been reported to undergo HP $\leftrightarrow$ non-HP state transition on year-like time scales. This work examines the extent to which HP (i.e., blazar) state can endure in a FSRQ, despite these `frequent' state transitions. This is the first attempt to verify, using purely opto-polarimetric data for a much enlarged sample of blazars, the recent curious finding that blazar state in individual quasars persists for {\it at least} a few decades, despite its changing/swinging observed fairly commonly on year-like time scales. The present analysis is based on a well-defined sample of 83 radio quasars, extracted from the opto-polarimetric survey RoboPol (2013-17), for which old opto-polarimetric data taken prior to 1990 could be found in the literature. By a source-wise comparison of these two datasets of the same observable ($p_{opt}$), we find that $\sim$ 90% of the 63 quasars found in blazar state in our RoboPol sample, were also observed to be in that state about 3 decades before. On the other hand, within the RoboPol survey itself, we find that roughly a quarter of the blazars in our sample migrated to the other polarization state on year-like time scales, by crossing the customary $p_{opt}$ = 3% threshold. Evidently, these relatively frequent transitions (in either direction) do not curtail the propensity of a radio quasar to retain its blazar (i.e., HP) state for at least a few decades. The observed transitions/swings of polarization state are probably manifestation of transient processes, like ejections of synchrotron plasma blobs (VLBI radio knots) from the active nucleus.

Thus, LMAGN are a crucial subclass of AGN filling the wide gap between SMBH and stellar-mass BHs of Galactic X-ray binaries. We have carried out a 36-session campaign of intranight optical monitoring of a well-defined, representative sample of 12 LMAGNs already detected in X-ray and radio bands. This set of LMAGN is found to exhibit INOV at a level statistically comparable to that observed for blazars (M$_{BH} \gtrsim$ 10$^{8-9}$ M$_{\odot}$) and for the $γ$-ray detected Narrow-line Seyfert1 galaxies (M$_{BH}\sim 10^7$ M$_{\odot}$) which, too, are believed to have relativistic jets. This indicates that the blazar-level activity can even be sustained by central engines with black holes near the upper limit for Intermediate Mass Black Holes ($M_{BH}$ $\sim$ $10^3 - 10^6 M_{\odot}$).

Polarization coded apertures (PCAs) can be employed to circumvent this critical artifact. We experimentally demonstrate intensity compensated polarization encrypted apertures, which are designed using the polarization modulation characteristics of LC-SLM. PCAs are not limited by the aperture size and hence far-field point spread function (PSF) can be more conveniently recorded using these PCAs. We experimentally validate that Depth of field (DOF) of a diffraction-limited lens and axial intensity of binary Fresnel zone plate (BFZP) is enhanced using PCAs with nominal intensity loss.

We report the first study to characterise intranight variability of the blazar class from the perspective of (rest-frame) UV emission. For this, we carried out intranight optical monitoring of 14 flat-spectrum radio quasars (FSRQs) located at high redshifts (1.5 < $z$ < 3.7), in 42 sessions of median duration $\sim$ 5.4 hr. These sources were grouped into two samples distinguished by published fractional optical polarisation: (i) nine low-polarisation sources with $p_{opt} < 3\%$ and (ii) five high-polarisation sources. Unexpectedly, a high duty cycle (DC $\sim$ 30$\%$) is found for intranight variability (with amplitude $ψ> 3\%$) of the low-polarisation sources. This DC is a few times higher than that reported for low-polarisation FSRQs located at moderate redshifts ($z$ $\sim$ 0.7) and hence typically monitored in the rest-frame blue-optical. Further, we found no evidence for an increased intranight variability of UV emission with polarisation, in contrast to the strong correlation found for intranight variability of optical emission. We briefly discuss this in the context of an existing scenario which posits that the nonthermal UV emission of blazars arises from a relativistic particle population different from that radiating up to near-infrared/optical frequencies.

This photometric data helped us to explore the nature of the variability of pre-main sequence (PMS) stars. We have identified 85 PMS variables, i.e., 37 Class II and 48 Class III sources. Forty-five of the PMS variables are showing periodicity in their light curves. We show that the stars with thicker discs and envelopes rotate slower and exhibit larger photometric variations compared to their disc-less counterparts. This result suggests that rotation of the PMS stars is regulated by the presence of circumstellar discs. We also found that the period of the stars show a decreasing trend with increasing mass in the range of $\sim$0.5-2.5 M$_\odot$. Our result indicates that most of the variability in Class II sources is ascribed to the presence of thick disc, while the presence of cool spots on the stellar surface causes the brightness variation in Class III sources. X-ray activities in the PMS stars were found to be at the saturation level reported for the main sequence (MS) stars. The younger counterparts of the PMS variables are showing less X-ray activity hinting towards a less significant role of a stellar disc in X-ray generation.

In polar-oxide interfaces, a certain number of monolayers (ML) is needed for conductivity to appear. This threshold for conductivity is explained by accumulating sufficient electric potential to initiate charge transfer to the interface. Here we study experimentally and theoretically the (111) SrTiO3/LaAlO3 interface where a critical thickness, tc, of nine epitaxial LaAlO3 ML is required to turn the interface from insulating to conducting and even superconducting. We show that tc decreases to 3ML when depositing a cobalt over-layer (cap**) and 6ML for platinum cap**. The latter result contrasts with the (100) interface, where platinum cap** increases tc beyond the bare interface. The observed threshold for conductivity for the bare and the metal-capped interfaces is confirmed by our density functional theory calculations. Interestingly, for (111) SrTiO3/LaAlO3/Metal interfaces, conductivity appears concomitantly with superconductivity in contrast with the (100) SrTiO3/LaAlO3/Metal interfaces where tc is smaller than the critical thickness for superconductivity. We attribute this dissimilarity to the different orbital polarization of e'g for the (111) versus dxy for the (001) interface.

In this paper, we present GPLAN, software aimed at constructing dimensioned floorplan layouts based on graph-theoretical and optimization techniques. GPLAN takes user requirements as input in the following two forms: i. Adjacency graph: It allows user to draw an adjacency graph on a GUI(graphical user interface) corresponding to which GPLAN produces a set of dimensioned floorplans with a rectangular boundary, where each floorplan is topologically distinct from others. ii. Dimensionless layout: Here, user can draw any layout with rectangular or non-rectangular boundary on a GUI and GPLAN transforms it into a dimensioned floorplan while preserving adjacencies, positions, shapes of the rooms. The above approaches represent different ways of inserting adjacencies and GPLAN generate dimensioned floorplans corresponding to the given adjacencies. The larger aim is to provide alternative platforms to user for producing dimensioned floorplans for all given (architectural) constraints, which can be further refined by architects.

We report an investigation of Metal Insulator Transition (MIT) using conductivity and magnetoconductance (MC) measurements down to 0.3 K in Nd_{0.7}La_{0.3}NiO_{3} films grown on crystalline substrates of LaAlO_{3} (LAO), SrTiO_{3} (STO), and NdGaO_{3}(NGO) by pulsed laser deposition. The film grown on LAO experiences a compressive strain and shows metallic behavior with the onset of a weak resistivity upturn below 2 K which is linked to the onset of weak localization contribution. Films grown on STO and NGO show a crossover from a Positive Temperature Coefficient (PTC) resistance regime to Negative Temperature Coefficient (NTC) resistance regime at definite temperatures. We establish that a cross-over from PTC to NTC on cooling does not necessarily constitute a MIT because the extrapolated conductivity at zero temperature σ_{0} though small (<10 S/cm) is finite, signalling the existence of a bad metallic state and absence of an activated transport. The value of σ_{0} for films grown on NGO is reduced by a factor of 40 compared to that for films grown on STO. We show that a combination of certain physical factors makes substituted nickelate (that are known to exhibit first order Mott type transition), undergo a continuous transition as seen in systems undergoing disorder/composition driven Anderson transition. The MC measurement also support the above observation and show that at low temperature there exists a positive MC that arises from the quantum interference which co-exists with a spin-related negative MC that becomes progressively stronger as the electrons approach a strongly localized state in the film grown on NGO.

This has been established by observation of large deviation of the thermal noise in the films of Mott system $NdNiO_{3}$ from the canonical Johnson-Nyquist value of $4k_{B}TR$ close to the transition. It is suggested that such a large noise arise from small isolated pockets of nanometric metallic phases (estimated size $\sim$ 15-20 nm) within the insulating phase with the charging energy as the control parameter.

We present multi-epoch deep ($\sim$20 mag) $I_{c}$~band photometric monitoring of the Sh 2-170 star-forming region to understand the variability properties of pre-main-sequence (PMS) stars. We report identification of 47 periodic and 24 non-periodic variable stars with periods and amplitudes ranging from $\sim$4 hrs to 18 days and from $\sim$0.1 to 2.0 mag, respectively. We have further classified 49 variables as PMS stars (17 Class\,{\sc ii} and 32 Class\,{\sc iii}) and 17 as main-sequence (MS)/field star variables. A larger fraction of MS/field variables (88\%) show periodic variability as compared to the PMS variables (59\%). The ages and masses of the PMS variable stars are found to be comparable with those of T-Tauri stars. Their variability amplitudes show an increasing trend with the near-IR/mid-IR excess. The period distribution of the PMS variables shows two peaks, one near $\sim$1.5 days and the other near $\sim$4.5 days. It is found that the younger stars with thicker discs and envelopes seem to rotate slower than their older counterparts. These properties of the PMS variables support the disc-locking mechanism. Both the period and amplitude of PMS stars show decrease with increasing mass probably due to the effective dispersal of circumstellar discs in massive stars. Our results favour the notion that cool spots on weak line T-Tauri stars are responsible for most of their variations, while hot spots on classical T-Tauri stars resulting from variable mass accretion from an inner disc contribute to their larger amplitudes and irregular behaviours.

We analyze their morphologies, colours, star-formation rate (SFR), metallicities, and stellar populations combining broad-band and narrow-band photometry with low-resolution optical spectroscopy. The $UBVRI$ observations were made through the 2m HCT (Himalayan Chandra Telescope) and 1m ARIES telescope. The spectroscopic data were obtained using the Hanle Faint Object Spectrograph Camera (HFOSC) mounted on the 2m HCT. The observed galaxies are NGC 1140, IRAS 07164+5301, NGC 3738, UM 311, NGC 6764, NGC 4861 and NGC 3003. The optical spectra have been used to search for the faint WR features, to confirm that the ionization of the gas is consequence of the massive stars, and to quantify the oxygen abundance of each galaxy using several and independent empirical calibrations. We detected the broad features originated by WR stars in NGC 1140 and NGC 4861 and used them to derive their population of massive stars. Using our H$α$ images we have identified tens of regions within these galaxies, for which we derived the SFR. For all regions we found that the most recent star-formation event is 3 - 6 Myr old. We used the optical broad-band colours in combination with Starburst99 models to estimate the internal reddening and the age of the dominant underlying stellar population within all these regions. Knots in NGC 3738, NGC 6764 and NGC 3003 generally show the presence of an important old (400 - 1000 Myr) stellar population. However, the optical colours are not able to detect stars older than 20 - 50 Myr in the knots of the other four galaxies. This fact suggests both the intensity of the starbursts and that the star-formation activity has been ongoing for at least some few tens of million years in these objects.

In this paper, Grand Unified theories are discussed in terms of quaternions and octonions by using the relation between quaternion basis elements with Pauli matrices and Octonions with Gell Mann λmatrices. Connection between the unitary groups of GUTs and the normed division algebra has been established to re-describe the SU(5)gauge group. We have thus described the SU(5)gauge group and its subgroup SU(3)_{C}\times SU(2)_{L}\times U(1) by using quaternion and octonion basis elements. As such the connection between U(1) gauge group and complex number, SU(2) gauge group and quaternions and SU(3) and octonions is established. It is concluded that the division algebra approach to the the theory of unification of fundamental interactions as the case of GUTs leads to the consequences towards the new understanding of these theories which incorporate the existence of magnetic monopole and dyon.

We present a multiwavelength study of recurrent surges observed in Hα, UV (SOHO/EIT) and Radio (Learmonth, Australia) from the super-active region NOAA 10484 on 25 October, 2003. Several bright structures visible in Hα and UV corresponding to subflares are also observed at the base of each surge. Type III bursts are triggered and RHESSI X-ray sources are evident with surge activity. The major surge consists of the bunches of ejective paths forming a fan-shape region with an angular size of (\approx 65\degree) during its maximum phase. The ejection speed reaches upto \sim200 km/s. The SOHO/MDI magnetograms reveal that a large dipole emerges east side of the active region on 18-20 October 2003, a few days before the surges. On October 25, 2003, the major sunspots were surrounded by "moat regions" with moving magnetic features (MMFs). Parasitic fragmented positive polarities were pushed by the ambient dispersion motion of the MMFs and annihilated with negative polarities at the borders of the moat region of the following spot to produce flares and surges. A topology analysis of the global Sun using PFSS shows that the fan structures visible in the EIT 171 A images follow magnetic field lines connecting the present AR to a preceding AR in the South East. Radio observations of type III bursts indicate that they are coincident with the surges, suggesting that magnetic reconnection is the driver mechanism. The magnetic energy released by reconnection is transformed into plasma heating and provides the kinetic energy for the ejections. A lack of a radio signature in the high corona suggests that the surges are confined to follow the closed field lines in the fans. We conclude that these cool surges may have some local heating effects in the closed loops, but probably play a minor role in global coronal heating and the surge material does not escape to the solar wind.

Starting with the usual definitions of octonions, an attempt has been made to establish the relations between octonion basis elements and Gell-Mann λmatrices of SU(3)symmetry on comparing the multiplication tables for Gell-Mann λmatrices of SU(3)symmetry and octonion basis elements. Consequently, the quantum chromo dynamics (QCD) has been reformulated and it is shown that the theory of strong interactions could be explained better in terms of non-associative octonion algebra. Further, the octonion automorphism group SU(3) has been suitably handled with split basis of octonion algebra showing that the SU(3)_{C}gauge theory of colored quarks carries two real gauge fields which are responsible for the existence of two gauge potentials respectively associated with electric charge and magnetic monopole and supports well the idea that the colored quarks are dyons.

The recent detection of both pressure and high-order gravity modes in the classical B-type pulsator Gamma Pegasi offers promising prospects for probing its internal structure through seismic studies. To aid further modelling of this star, we present the results of a detailed NLTE abundance analysis based on a large number of time-resolved, high-quality spectra. A chemical composition typical of nearby B-type stars is found. The hybrid nature of this star is consistent with its location in the overlap** region of the instability strips for beta Cephei and slowly pulsating B stars computed using OP opacity tables, although OPAL calculations may also be compatible with the observations once the uncertainties in the stellar parameters and the current limitations of the stability calculations are taken into account. The two known frequencies f1 = 6.58974 and f2 = 0.68241 c/d are detected in the spectroscopic time series. A mode identification is attempted for the low-frequency signal, which can be associated to a high-order g -mode. Finally, we re-assess the binary status of Gamma Peg and find no evidence for variations that can be ascribed to orbital motion, contrary to previous claims in the literature.

Kee** in view the utility of octonion variable we have tried to extend the three dimensional vector analysis to seven dimensional one. Starting with the scalar and vector product in seven dimensions, we have redefined the gradient, divergence and curl in seven dimension. It is shown that the identity n(n-1)(n-3)(n-7)=0 is satisfied only for 0, 1, 3 and 7 dimensional vectors. We have tried to write all the vector inequalities and formulas in terms of seven dimensions and it is shown that same formulas loose their meaning in seven dimensions due to non-associativity of octonions. The vector formulas are retained only if we put certain restrictions on octonions and split octonions.

Starting with the generalized electromagnetic field equations of dyons, we have discussed the theory of magnetohydrodynamics (MHD) of plasma for particles carrying simultaneously the electric and magnetic charges (namely dyons). It is shown that the resultant system supports the electromagnetic duality of dyons. Consequently the frequency of dyonic plasma has been obtained and it is emphasized that there is a different plasma frequency for each species depending on wave number k. For k to be real, only those generalized electromagnetic waves are allowed to pass, for which the usual frequency is greater than the plasma frequency (i.e. ω>ω_{p}). It is shown that the plasma frequency sets the lower cuts for the frequencies of electromagnetic radiation that can pass through a plasma . Accordingly the ohm's law has been reestablished to derive the plasma oscillation equation as well as the magetohydrodynamic wave equation and the energy of dyons in unique and consistent manner.

Starting with an invariant Lagrangian density and its quaternionic representation, we have obtained the consistent field equation for the dynamics of four charges. It has been shown that the present reformulation reproduces the dynamics of individual charges (masses) in the absence of other charge (masses) as well as the generalized theory of dyons (gravito - dyons) in the absence gravito - dyons (dyons). key words: dyons, gravito - dyons, quaternion PACS NO: 14.80Hv

Corresponding covariant derivatives for complex, quaternion and octonion spaces in internal gauge groups are shown to describe the consistent field equations and generalized Dirac equation of dyons. It is also shown that quaternion and octonion representations extend the so-called unified theory of gravitation and electromagnetism to the Yang-Mill's fields leading to two SU(2) gauge theories of internal spaces due to the presence of electric and magnetic charges on dyons.

The interpretations of octonion wave equations in eight dimensional space-time have been discussed. We have made an attempt to discuss the octonion field equation as the equation of motion for particles carrying simultaneously electric and magnetic charges (i.e. dyons) in external and internal spaces respectively. It has been concluded that the component of octonion potential wave equations behaves neither the generalized electromagnetic fields of monopoles nor the dyons. Rather, they have the mixed behaviour of electromagnetic fields associated with the electric and magnetic charges in external and internal spaces. We have also made an attempt to investigate the split octonion wave equation and its interpretation in classical electrodynamics and accordingly the consistent and compact forms of eight-dimensional potential and current equation of dyons are obtained in terms of Zorn's vector matrix realization of split octonions.Visualizing the external four space as the localization space for tachyons, it is shown that the split octonion wave equation reduces to the Maxwell's equation (field equation) for bradyons in R^{4}- space as well as that for tachyons in T^{4}- space in the absence of other.

Starting with the generalized field equation of dyons and gravito-dyons, we study the theory of octonion variables to the SU (2) non-Abelian gauge formalism. We demonstrate the resemblance of octonion covariant derivative with the gauge covariant derivative of generalized fields of dyons.Expressing the generalized four-potential, current and fields of gravito-dyons in terms of split octonion variables, the U (1) abelian and SU (2) non-Abelian gauge structure of dyons and gravito-dyons are described. It is emphasized that in general the generalized four-current is not conserved but only the Noetherian four-current is considered to be conserved one. The present formalism yields the theory of electric (gravitational) charge (mass) in the absence of magnetic(Heavisidean) charge (mass) on dyons (gravito-dyons) or vice versa.
