The form factors for the considered transitions are obtained within the sum rules method. With the calculated form factors, the decay widths of the processes are determined. Up to now, only the decay width for $Λ_b^0 \to Λ_c^+ μ^- ν_μ$ has been measured among the considered decays, and we observe that our finding is quite compatible with the measurement. We also compare our results with the predictions of other approaches.

Using the parallel components of the light cone distribution amplitudes for $Λ_Q$ baryon, the sum rules are constructed and analyzed for the corresponding transition form factors. Having the results for the form factors, the corresponding branching ratios for $Ξ_{QQ} \to Λ_Q l^+ l^-$ decays are estimated. While the branching ratio due to $b \to d$ transition is around $10^{-9}$, in $c \to u$ transition case, it is found as around $10^{-13}$. Hence, $Ξ_{bb} \to Λ_b l^+ l^-$ decay has the potential of being discovered at LHCb. However, $Ξ_{bb} \to Λ_b l^+ l^-$ is difficult to be measured due to the extremely small values of obtained branching ratio. Our results on the branching ratio are also compared with the results of the light-front approach.

The study of the properties of doubly heavy baryons represents a promising area in particle physics. It can provide us with information about Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa (CKM) matrix elements and the low energy dynamics of QCD. They have a very rich phenomenology. The investigation of weak, electromagnetic, and strong decays has vital importance for understanding the dynamics of doubly heavy baryons. The main ingredients of such studies are the spectroscopic parameters, the strong coupling constants, and the transition form factors. For calculations of these quantities, non-perturbative methods are needed. One of these methods is the QCD sum rules. In the present work, we review our studies on the properties of the doubly heavy baryons within the sum rules method, focusing mainly on the mass and strong coupling constants of the doubly heavy baryons. In addition, the radiative decays of doubly heavy baryons are estimated using the vector dominance model. We also make few remarks on the semileptonic decays of the doubly heavy baryons.

LHCb Collaboration has recently announced the observation of a doubly charmed tetraquark $T_{cc \bar{u} \bar{d}}^+$ state with spin parity $J^P = 1^+$. This exotic state can be explained as a molecular state with small binding energy. According to conventional quark model, both $D^+ D^{0\ast}$ and $(D^0 D^{+\ast})$ multiquark states are expected to have the same mass and flavor in the exact $SU(3)$ symmetry. However, since the quark masses are different, $SU(3) (SU(2))$ symmetry is violated, hence, the mass and flavor eigenstates do not coincide. The mass eigenstates can be represented as a linear combination of the flavor eigenstates, which is characterized by the mixing angle $θ$. In the present work, the possible mixing angles between the $T_{cc}$ states are calculated. Moreover, the analysis are extended for all the possible tetraquarks scenarios with two heavy and two light quarks within the molecular picture although those states have not been observed yet. Our prediction on mixing angle between doubly charmed tetraquark states shows that $SU(3)$ symmetry breaking is around $7\%$ maximally.

The mass and leptonic decay constants of recently observed two new excited $B_c$ states at LHC are studied within the QCD sum rules. Considering the contributions of the ground and radially excited states, the mass and residues of the excited states of pseudoscalar and vector mesons are calculated in the framework of two different approaches of the QCD sum rules, namely, linear combinations of the corresponding sum rules and its derivatives as well as QCD sum rules with the incorporation of the least square fitting method. The obtained results on mass $m_{B_c^+}(2S) = 6.88 \pm 0.03~\rm{GeV} $ and $m_{B_c^{*+}}(2S) = 6.94 \pm 0.03~\rm{GeV} $ are in good agreement with the experimental data. Our predictions for the decay constants of these states are: $f_{B_c^+}(2S) = 0.42 \pm 0.02~\rm{GeV} $ and $f_{B_c^{*+}}(2S) = 0.46 \pm 0.01~\rm{GeV}$, which can be checked at future experiments to be conducted at the LHC. We present the physics program of the Belle II experiment, located on the intensity frontier SuperKEKB $e^+e^-$ collider. Belle II collected its first collisions in 2018, and is expected to operate for the next decade. It is anticipated to collect 50/ab of collision data over its lifetime. This book is the outcome of a joint effort of Belle II collaborators and theorists through the Belle II theory interface platform (B2TiP), an effort that commenced in 2014. The aim of B2TiP was to elucidate the potential impacts of the Belle II program, which includes a wide scope of physics topics: B physics, charm, tau, quarkonium, electroweak precision measurements and dark sector searches. It is composed of nine working groups (WGs), which are coordinated by teams of theorist and experimentalists conveners: Semileptonic and leptonic B decays, Radiative and Electroweak penguins, phi_1 and phi_2 (time-dependent CP violation) measurements, phi_3 measurements, Charmless hadronic B decay, Charm, Quarkonium(like), tau and low-multiplicity processes, new physics and global fit analyses. This book highlights "golden- and silver-channels", i.e. those that would have the highest potential impact in the field. Theorists scrutinised the role of those measurements and estimated the respective theoretical uncertainties, achievable now as well as prospects for the future. Experimentalists investigated the expected improvements with the large dataset expected from Belle II, taking into account improved performance from the upgraded detector.

Abstract:
The strong coupling constants of negative parity heavy baryons belonging to a sextet and antitriplet representations of $SU_f(3)$ with light $π$ and $K$ mesons are estimated within the light cone QCD sum rules. It is observed that each class of the sextet-sextet, sextet-antitriplet, and antitriplet-antitriplet transitions can be described by only one corresponding function. The pollutions arising…

The pollutions arising from the positive to positive, positive to negative, and negative to positive parity baryons transitions are eliminated by constructing sum rules for different Lorentz structures. The obtained coupling constants are compared with the ones for the positive parity heavy baryons.

Abstract:
We present a study for two-quark light-cone distribution amplitudes for the $1^3D_2$ light tensor meson states with quantum number $J^{PC}=2^{--}$. Because of the G-parity, the chiral-even two-quark light-cone distribution amplitudes of this tensor meson are antisymmetric under the interchange of momentum fractions of the quark and antiquark in the SU(3) limit, while the chiral-odd ones are symmet…

We present a study for two-quark light-cone distribution amplitudes for the $1^3D_2$ light tensor meson states with quantum number $J^{PC}=2^{--}$. Because of the G-parity, the chiral-even two-quark light-cone distribution amplitudes of this tensor meson are antisymmetric under the interchange of momentum fractions of the quark and antiquark in the SU(3) limit, while the chiral-odd ones are symmetric. The asymptotic leading-twist LCDAs with the strange quark mass correction are shown. We estimate the relevant parameters, the decay constants $f_T$ and $f_T^\perp$, and first Gegenbauer moment $a_1^\perp$, by using the QCD sum rule method. These parameters play a central role in the investigation of $B$ meson decaying into the $2^{--}$ tensor mesons.

Abstract:
We calculate the mass and residue of the newly observed $Ω_c(3000)$ and $Ω_c(3066)$ states with quantum numbers $J^P = \frac{1}{2}^{-}$ and $\frac{3}{2}^{-}$ within QCD sum rules. Our predictions on masses are in good agreement with the experimental results.

If the scale invariance exists in nature, the so-called unparticle physics may become part of reality. The only way to refute or confirm this idea is through the experiments one of which is the Large Hadron Collider (LHC). One of the peculiar properties of the unparticle stuff is that it gives striking multi-photon signals which has been studied through only the unparticle self-interactions. By considering not only the self-interactions of unparticles but also all the other possible contributions, which are dominant, a detailed study of the processes, within a scalar unparticle scenario, $pp\to 4γ$, $pp\to 2γ2g$, $pp\to 2γ2\ell$, $pp\to 4e$, $pp\to 4μ$ and $pp\to 2e2μ$ at $\sqrt{s}=14$ TeV at the LHC is carried out. We use basic selection cuts and analyze various distributions to discriminate the signals over the Standard Model backgrounds and discuss what seems to be the most likely channel among the above ones for an indirect manifestation of unparticle effects. We follow a new approach to tackle the issue with the three-point correlation function for the scalar unparticle self-interactions. We also obtain the exclusion region in the unparticle parameter space from the available two-photon data of the LHC.

A possible manifestation of an additional light gauge boson $A^\prime$, named as Dark Photon, associated with a group $U(1)_{\rm B-L}$ is studied in neutrino electron scattering experiments. The exclusion plot on the coupling constant $g_{\rm B-L}$ and the dark photon mass $M_{A^\prime}$ is obtained. It is shown that contributions of interference term between the dark photon and the Standard Model are important. The interference effects are studied and compared with for data sets from TEXONO, GEMMA, BOREXINO, LSND as well as CHARM II experiments. Our results provide more stringent bounds to some regions of parameter space.

The data samples were collected in 2011 at a centre-of-mass energy of 7 TeV, and in 2012 at 8 TeV. The combined analysis produces the first observation of the $B^0_s\toμ^+μ^-$ decay, with a statistical significance exceeding six standard deviations, and the best measurement of its branching fraction so far. Furthermore, evidence for the $B^0\toμ^+μ^-$ decay is obtained with a statistical significance of three standard deviations. The branching fraction measurements are statistically compatible with SM predictions and impose stringent constraints on several theories beyond the SM.

The nu-e-bar electron elastic scattering cross-section was measured with a CsI(Tl) scintillating crystal detector array with a total mass of 187 kg at the Kuo-Sheng Nuclear Power Station. The detectors were exposed to a reactor nu-e-bar flux of 6.4 X 10^{12} cm^{-2}s^{-1} originated from a core with 2.9 GW thermal power. Using 29882/7369 kg-days of Reactor ON/OFF data, the Standard Model (SM) of electroweak interaction was probed at the 4-momentum transfer range of Q^2 ~ 3 X 10^{-6} GeV^2. A cross-section ratio of R_{expt} = [1.08 +- 0.21(stat) +- 0.16(sys)] X R_{SM} was measured. Constraints on the electroweak parameters (g_V,g_A) were placed, corresponding to a weak mixing angle measurement of $\s2tw$ = [0.251 +- 0.031(stat) +- 0.024(sys)]. Destructive interference in the SM nu-e-bar+e processes was verified. Bounds on neutrino anomalous electromagnetic properties (neutrino magnetic moment and neutrino charge radius), non-standard neutrino interactions, upparticle physics and non-commutative physics were placed. We summarize the experimental details and results, and discuss projected sensitivities with realistic and feasible hardware upgrades.

Neutrino-electron scatterings ($ν- e$) are purely leptonic processes with robust Standard Model (SM) predictions. Their measurements can therefore provide constraints to physics beyond SM. Non-commutative (NC) field theories modify space-time commutation relations, and allow neutrino electromagnetic couplings at the tree level. Their contribution to neutrino-electron scattering cross-section was derived. Constraints were placed on the NC scale parameter $Λ_{NC}$ from $ν- e$ experiments with reactor and accelerator neutrinos. The most stringent limit of $Λ_{NC} > 3.3 TeV$ at 95% confidence level improves over the direct bounds from collider experiments.
