$\mathbb{H}^{p,q}$-convex cocompactness and higher higher Teichmüller spaces
Abstract: For any integers $p\geq 2$ and $q\geq 1$, let $\mathbb{H}^{p,q}$ be the pseudo-Riemannian hyperbolic space of signature $(p,q)$. We prove that if $Γ$ is the fundamental group of a closed aspherical $p$-manifold, then the set of representations of $Γ$ to $\mathrm{PO}(p,q+1)$ which are convex cocompact in $\mathbb{H}^{p,q}$ is a union of connected components of $\mathrm{Hom}(Γ,\mathrm{PO}(p,q+1))$.… ▽ More

Positive surface group representations in PO(p,q)
Abstract: We show that $Θ$-positive Anosov representations $ρ:Γ\to\mathsf{PO}(p,q)$ of a surface group $Γ$ satisfy root vs weight collar lemmas for all the Anosov roots, and are positively ratioed with respect to all such roots. From this we deduce that $Θ$-positive Anosov representations $ρ:Γ\to\mathsf{PO}(p,q)$ form connected components of character varieties.

Degenerations of k-positive surface group representations
Abstract: We introduce \emph{k-positive representations}, a large class of $\{1,\ldots,k\}$--Anosov surface group representations into PGL(E) that share many features with Hitchin representations, and we study their degenerations: unless they are Hitchin, they can be deformed to non-discrete representations, but any limit is at least (k-3)-positive and irreducible limits are (k-1)-positive. A major ingredie… ▽ More

A collar lemma for partially hyperconvex surface group representations
Abstract: We show that a collar lemma holds for Anosov representations of fundamental groups of surfaces into $\SL(n,\R)$ that satisfy partial hyperconvexity properties inspired from Labourie's work. This is the case for several open sets of Anosov representations not contained in higher rank Teichmüller spaces, as well as for $Θ$-positive representations into $\SO(p,q)$ if $p\geq 4$. We moreover show that… ▽ More

Cross ratios on ${\rm CAT(0)}$ cube complexes and marked length-spectrum rigidity
Abstract: We show that group actions on irreducible ${\rm CAT(0)}$ cube complexes with no free faces are uniquely determined by their $\ell^1$ length function. Actions are allowed to be non-proper and non-cocompact, as long as they are minimal and have no finite orbit in the visual boundary. This is, to our knowledge, the first length-spectrum rigidity result in a setting of non-positive curvature (with the… ▽ More

Cross ratios and cubulations of hyperbolic groups
Abstract: Many geometric structures associated to surface groups can be encoded in terms of invariant cross ratios on their circle at infinity; examples include points of Teichmüller space, Hitchin representations and geodesic currents. We add to this picture by studying cubulations of arbitrary Gromov hyperbolic groups $G$. Under weak assumptions, we show that the space of cubulations of $G$ naturally inje… ▽ More

${\rm CAT(0)}$ cube complexes are determined by their boundary cross ratio
Abstract: We introduce a $\mathbb{Z}$-valued cross ratio on Roller boundaries of ${\rm CAT(0)}$ cube complexes. We motivate its relevance by showing that every cross-ratio preserving bijection of Roller boundaries uniquely extends to a cubical isomorphism. Our results are strikingly general and even apply to infinite dimensional, locally infinite cube complexes with trivial automorphism group.

Cross ratios on boundaries of symmetric spaces and Euclidean buildings
Abstract: We generalize the natural cross ratio on the ideal boundary of a rank one symmetric spaces, or even $\mathrm{CAT}(-1)$ space, to higher rank symmetric spaces and (non-locally compact) Euclidean buildings - we obtain vector valued cross ratios defined on simplices of the building at infinity. We show several properties of those cross ratios; for example that (under some restrictions) periods of hyp… ▽ More

A complete description of the antipodal set of most symmetric spaces of compact type
Abstract: It is known that the antipodal set of a Riemannian symmetric space of compact type $G / K$ consists of a union of $K$-orbits. We determine the dimensions of these $K$-orbits of most irreducible symmetric spaces of compact type. The symmetric spaces we are not going to deal with are those with restricted root system $\mathfrak{a}_r$ and a non-trivial fundamental group, which is not isomorphic to… ▽ More
