Coherent Radiation in Insertion Devices-II
Abstract: We represent results of calculations of coherent synchrotron radiation (CSR) of the relativistic bunch in an undulator with a vacuum chamber of arbitrary cross section with a new algorithm. This algorithm associated with direct calculations of electric field rather than the vector potential. CSR normalized to the incoherent one and compared with analytical calculations for a free space.

Coherent Radiation in Insertion Devices
Abstract: We calculate the coherent radiation in an undulator/wiggler with a vacuum chamber of arbitrary cross section. The backward radiation is a coherent and it has wavelengths about twice the period of the undulator/wiggler. Mostly of coherent radiation is going with the wavelengths approximately the bunch length at small angles however.

Self-Stimulated Undulator Radiation and its Possible Applications

TBA Scheme with ION/Proton Driving Beam

Self-stimulated Emission of Undulator Radiation
Abstract: We attract attention that interaction of particle in downstream undulator with its own wavelet emitted in upstream undulator could be as strong as with the frictional field in undulator itself. Enhanced Optical Cooling of Particle Beams in Storage Rings
Abstract: A method of enhanced optical cooling (EOC) based on nonlinear selective interaction between particles and theirs amplified undulator radiation wavelets (URW) in storage rings is discussed. Energy losses and efficiency of laser - electron X-ray generator for medical applications
Abstract: A source of medical x-rays based on a 50 Mev storage ring and a quasi-continues picosecond laser is considered. It is shown that such generator produces useful X-ray flux with higher average power and higher efficiency than that of conventional X-ray tubes. The coherent synchrotron radiation influence on the storage ring longitudinal beam dynamics
Abstract: We investigate influence on the storage ring beam dynamics of the coherent Synchrotron Radiation (SR) self fields produced by an electron bunch. We show that the maximum energy gain in the RF cavity must far exceed the energy loss of electrons due to the coherent SR.

On the Darwin Lagrangian
Abstract: In this paper we explore some surprising consequences of the retardation effects of Maxwell's electrodynamics to a system of charged particles. The specific cases of three interacting particles are considered in the framework of classical electrodynamics. We show that the solutions of the equations of motion defined by the Darvin Lagrangian in some cases contradict to common sense.
