We prove a general type description result for the multipliers acting between two periodic Bessel potential spaces, defined on the $n$--dimensional torus, in a case when their smoothness indices are of different signs. This is done through the detailed examination of a periodic analogue of the linear operator $J_s$, which is employed in the definition of the scale of the Bessel potential space defined on the whole space $\mathbb{R}^n$. Our method of defining this periodic analogue of $J_s$ uses the results about an asymptotic behaviour of the generalized Fourier coefficients and existence of a natural homeomorphism between the spaces $\mathcal{D}'(\mathbb{T}^n)$ and $S'_{2 \cdot π}(\mathbb{R}^n)$, where the latter consists of all $2 \cdot π$--periodic distributions from the dual Schwartz space $\mathcal{S}'(\mathbb{R}^n)$.

We investigate the problem of establishing bilateral continuous embeddings of the uniformly localized Bessel potential spaces $H^γ_{r, \: unif}(\mathbb{R}^n)$ into the multiplier spaces between Bessel potential spaces with positive smoothness indices. This problem is considered in the model situation when the natural norms of both of these Bessel potential spaces are generated by some inner product yet the description theorems for the corresponding multiplier space in terms of the spaces $H^γ_{r, \: unif}(\mathbb{R}^n)$ can not be established. The optimal character of the indices figuring in these embeddings is also examined.

Abstract:
For $p > 1, γ\in \mathbb{R}$, denote by $H^γ_p(\mathbb{R}^n)$ the Bessel potential space, by $H^γ_{p, unif}(\mathbb{R}^n)$ the corresponding uniformly localized Bessel potential space and by $M[s, -t]$ the space of multipliers from $H^s_2(\mathbb{R}^n)$ into $H^{-t}_2(\mathbb{R}^n)$. Assume that $s, t \geqslant 0, n/2 > \max(s, t) > 0, r: = \min(s, t), p_1: = n/max(s, t)$. Then the following embed…

Then the following embeddings hold $$ H^{-r}_{p_1, unif}(\mathbb{R}^n) \subset M[s, -t] \subset H^{-r}_{2, unif}(\mathbb{R}^n). $$ The main result of the paper claims the sharpness of the left embedding in the following sense: it does not hold if the lower index $p_1$ is replaced by $p_1 -\varepsilon$ with any sufficiently small $\varepsilon > 0$.

The objective of this paper is to describe the space of multipliers acting from a Bessel potential space $H^s_p(\mathbb R^n)$ into another space $H^{-t}_q(\mathbb R^n)$, provided that the smooth indices of these spaces have different signs, i.e. $s, t \geqslant 0$. This space of multipliers consists of distributions $u$, such that for all $\varphi \in H^s_p(\mathbb R^n)$ the product $\varphi \cdot u$ is well-defined and belongs to the space $H^{-t}_q(\mathbb R^n)$. We succeed to describe this space explicitly, provided that $p \leqslant q$ and one of the following conditions $$ s \geqslant t \geqslant 0, \ s > n/p \ \ \, \text{or} \ \ \, t \geqslant s \geqslant 0, \ t > n/q' \quad (\: \text{where} \; 1/q +1/q' = 1), $$ holds. In this case one has $$ M[H^s_p(\mathbb{R}^n) \to H^{-t}_{q}(\mathbb{R}^n)] = H^{-t}_{q, \: unif}(\mathbb{R}^n) \cap H^{-s}_{p', \: unif}(\mathbb{R}^n), $$ where $H^γ_{r, \: unif}(\mathbb{R}^n), \: γ\in \mathbb{R}, \: r > 1$ is the scale of uniformly localized Bessel potential spaces.
In particular but important case $s = t < n/\max (p,q')$ we prove two-sided continuous embeddings $$ H^{-s}_{r_1, \: unif}(\mathbb{R}^n) \subset M[H^s_p(\mathbb{R}^n) \to H^{-s}_q(\mathbb{R}^n)] \subset H^{-s}_{r_2, \: unif}(\mathbb{R}^n), $$ where $r_2 = \max (p', q), \ r_1 =[s/n-(1/p -1/q)]^{-1}$.

The polarized proton and deuteron targets will be used for revealing the flavor and isotopic spin dependencies of the polarization phenomena. The neutral and charged particles in the final state will be detected.

Abstract:
Single spin asymmetry in inclusive $π^0$-production was measured in the polarized target fragmentation region using 50 GeV proton beam. The asymmetry is in agreement with asymmetry measurements in the polarized beam fragmentation region carried out at higher energies. The measurement completed 30-years history of polarized measurements at the PROZA setup.
