Abstract:
We report results from a study of hadronic transitions of the $χ_{bJ}(nP)$ states of bottomonium at Belle. The $P$-wave states are reconstructed in transitions to the $Υ(1S)$ with the emission of an $ω$ meson. The transitions of the $n=2$ triplet states provide a unique laboratory in which to study nonrelativistic quantum chromodynamics, as the kinematic threshold for production of an $ω$ and…

A search for the $χ_{bJ}(3P)$ states is also reported.

In the Standard Model (SM) charmless hadronic decays $B_s^0 \rightarrow η^\prime η$ proceed via tree-level $b\to u$ and penguin $b\to s$ transitions. Penguin transitions are sensitive to Beyond-the-Standard-Model (BSM) physics scenarios and could affect the branching fractions and {\it CP} asymmetries in such decays. Once branching fractions for two-body decays $B_s \to ηη, ηη^{\prime}, η^{\prime}η^{\prime} $ are measured, and the theoretical uncertainties are reduced, it would be possible to extract {\it CP} violating parameters from the data using the formalism based on SU(3)/U(3) symmetry. To achieve this goal, at least four of these six branching fractions need to be measured. Only the branching fraction for $B_s^0 \to η^{\prime}η^{\prime}$ has been measured so far.

We report branching fraction measurements of four decay modes of the $Λ_{c}^{+}$ baryon, each of which includes an $η$ meson and a $Λ$ baryon in the final state, and all of which are measured relative to the $Λ_{c}^{+} \rightarrow p K^{-} pi^{+}$ decay mode.
The results are based on a $980~\mathrm{fb^{-1}}$ data sample collected by the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy $e^{+}e^{-}$ collider.
Two decays, $ηΣ^{0} π^{+}$ and $Λ(1670) π^{+}$, are observed for the first time, while the measurements of the other decay modes, $Λ_{c}^{+} \rightarrow ηΛπ^{+}$ and $ηΣ(1385)^{+}$, are more precise than those made previously.
We obtain $\mathcal{B}(Λ_{c}^{+} \rightarrow ηΛπ^{+})/\mathcal{B}(Λ_{c}^{+} \rightarrow p K^{-} π^{+})$ = $0.293 \pm 0.003 \pm 0.014$, $\mathcal{B}(Λ_{c}^{+} \rightarrow ηΣ^{0} π^{+})/\mathcal{B}(Λ_{c}^{+} \rightarrow p K^{-} π^{+})$ = $0.120 \pm 0.006 \pm 0.006$, $\mathcal{B}(Λ_{c}^{+} \rightarrow Λ(1670) π^{+}) \times \mathcal{B}(Λ(1670) \rightarrow ηΛ)/\mathcal{B}(Λ_{c}^{+} \rightarrow p K^{-} π^{+})$ = $(5.54 \pm 0.29 \pm 0.73 ) \times 10^{-2}$, and $\mathcal{B}(Λ_{c}^{+} \rightarrow ηΣ(1385)^{+})/\mathcal{B}(Λ_{c}^{+} \rightarrow p K^{-} π^{+})$ = $0.192 \pm 0.006 \pm 0.016$.
The mass and width of the $Λ(1670)$ are also precisely determined to be $1674.3 \pm 0.8 \pm 4.9~{\rm MeV}/c^{2}$ and $36.1 \pm 2.4 \pm 4.8~{\rm MeV}$, respectively, where the uncertainties are statistical and systematic, respectively.

The enhancement of charged-particle pairs with large pseudorapidity difference and small azimuthal angle difference, often referred to as the ``ridge signal'', is a phenomenon widely observed in high multiplicity proton-proton, proton-ion and deutron-ion collisions, which is not yet fully understood. In heavy-ion collisions, the hydrodynamic expansion of the Quark-Gluon Plasma is one of the possible explanations of the origin of the ridge signal. Measurements in the $e^+e^-$ collision system, without the complexities introduced by hadron structure in the initial state, can serve as a complementary probe to examine the formation of a ridge signal. The first measurement of two-particle angular correlation functions in high multiplicity $e^+e^-$ collisions at $\sqrt{s}=10.52$ GeV is reported. The hadronic $e^+e^-$ annihilation data collected by the Belle detector at KEKB are used in this study. Two-particle angular correlation functions are measured over the full azimuth and large pseudorapidity intervals which are defined by either the electron beam axis or the event thrust as a function of charged particle multiplicity. The measurement in the event thrust analysis, with mostly outgoing quark pairs determining the reference axis, is sensitive to the region of additional soft gluon emissions. No significant ridge signal is observed with either coordinates analyses. Near side jet correlations appear to be absent in the thrust axis analysis. The measurements are compared to predictions from various event generators and expected to provide new constraints to the phenomenological models in the low energy regime.

We report results from a study of the spin and parity of $Ξ_{c}(2970)^+$ using a $980~\mathrm{fb^{-1}}$ data sample collected by the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy $e^{+}e^{-}$ collider. The decay angle distributions in the chain $Ξ_{c}(2970)^+ \to Ξ_c(2645)^{0}π^{+} \to Ξ_c^{+}π^{-}π^{+}$ are analyzed to determine the spin of this charmed-strange baryon. The angular distributions strongly favor the $Ξ_{c}(2970)^+$ spin $J =1/2$ over $3/2$ or $5/2$, under an assumption that the lowest partial wave dominates in the decay. We also measure the ratio of $Ξ_{c}(2970)^+$ decay branching fractions $R={\mathcal{B}[ Ξ_{c}(2970)^+ \to Ξ_c(2645)^{0}π^{+} ]} / { \mathcal{B}[ Ξ_{c}(2970)^+ \to Ξ_c^{\prime0}π^{+} ]} =1.67 \pm 0.29\mathrm{(stat.)}^{ +0.15}_{ -0.09}\mathrm{(syst.)} \pm 0.25\mathrm{(IS)}$, where the last uncertainty is due to possible isospin-symmetry-breaking effects. This $R$ value favors the spin-parity $J^P=1/2^+$ with the spin of the light-quark degrees of freedom $s_{l}=0$. This is the first determination of the spin and parity of a charmed-strange baryon.

We present an analysis of the exclusive $B^{+}\toπ^{+}π^{-}\ell^{+}ν_{\ell}$ decay, where $\ell$ represents an electron or a muon, with the assumption of charge-conjugation symmetry and lepton universality. The analysis uses the full $Υ(4S)$ data sample collected by the Belle detector, corresponding to 711 fb$^{-1}$ of integrated luminosity. We select the events by fully reconstructing one $B$ meson in hadronic decay modes, subsequently determining the properties of the other $B$ meson. We extract the signal yields using a binned maximum-likelihood fit to the missing-mass squared distribution in bins of the invariant mass of the two pions or the momentum transfer squared. We measure a total branching fraction of ${{\cal B}(B^{+}\to π^{+}π^{-}\ell^{+}ν_{\ell})= [22.7 ^{+1.9}_{-1.6} (\mathrm{stat}) \pm 3.5(\mathrm{syst}) ]\times 10^{-5}}$, where the uncertainties are statistical and systematic, respectively. Abstract:
Using a data sample of $772 \times 10^6$ BB pairs collected on the $Υ(4S)$ resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy $e^+e^-$ collider, we report the observations of $B^0\to p{\bar p}π^+π^-$ and $B^+ \to p{\bar p}π^+π^0$. We measure a decay branching fraction of $(0.83 \pm 0.17 \pm 0.17) \times 10^-6$ in $B^0\to p{\bar p}π^+π^-$ for $M_{π^+π^-} < 1.22 GeV/c^2$ with a signific…

We report the result for a search for the leptonic decay of $B^+ \to μ^+ \, ν_μ$ using the full Belle data set of 711 fb${}^{-1}$ of integrated luminosity at the $Υ(4S)$ resonance. In the Standard Model leptonic $B$-meson decays are helicity and CKM suppressed. To maximize sensitivity an inclusive tagging approach is used to reconstruct the second $B$ meson produced in the collision. The directional information from this second $B$ meson is used to boost the observed $μ$ into the signal $B$ meson rest-frame, in which the $μ$ has a monochromatic momentum spectrum. Though its momentum is smeared by the experimental resolution, this technique improves the analysis sensitivity considerably. Analyzing the $μ$ momentum spectrum in this frame we find $\mathcal{B}(B^+ \to μ^+ \, ν_μ) = \left( 5.3 \pm 2.0 \pm 0.9 \right) \times 10^{-7}$ with a one-sided significance of 2.8 standard deviations over the background-only hypothesis. This translates to a frequentist upper limit of $\mathcal{B}(B^+ \to μ^+ \, ν_μ) < 8.6 \times 10^{-7}$ at 90% CL. The experimental spectrum is then used to search for a massive sterile neutrino, $B^+ \to μ^+ \, N$, but no evidence is observed for a sterile neutrino with a mass in a range of 0 - 1.5 GeV. The determined $B^+ \to μ^+ \, ν_μ$ branching fraction limit is further used to constrain the mass and coupling space of the type II and type III two-Higgs-doublet models.

These results are obtained from a 24.9 fb^{-1} data sample collected with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy $e^+e^-$ collider at a center-of-mass energy equal to the $Υ(2S)$ mass using $Υ(1S)$ tagging by the $Υ(2S) \to Υ(1S) π^+π^-$ transitions.

We report a new simultaneous measurement of $\mathcal{R}(D)$ and $\mathcal{R}(D^*)$, based on a data sample containing $772 \times 10^6$ $B\bar{B}$ events recorded at the $Υ(4S)$ resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB $e^+ e^-$ collider. In this analysis the tag-side $B$ meson is reconstructed in a semileptonic decay mode and the signal-side $τ$ is reconstructed in a purely leptonic decay. The measured values are $\mathcal{R}(D)= 0.307 \pm 0.037 \pm 0.016$ and $\mathcal{R}(D^*) = 0.283 \pm 0.018 \pm 0.014$, where the first uncertainties are statistical and the second are systematic. These results are in agreement with the Standard Model predictions within $0.2$, $1.1$ and $0.8$ standard deviations for $\mathcal{R}(D)$, $\mathcal{R}(D^*)$ and their combination, respectively. This work constitutes the most precise measurements of $\mathcal{R}(D)$ and $\mathcal{R}(D^*)$ performed to date as well as the first result for $\mathcal{R}(D)$ based on a semileptonic tagging method.

This analysis is based on the full Belle data set of $772\times 10^{6}$ $B\overline{B}$ events collected at the $Υ(4S)$ resonance. We obtain $φ_3 = (5.7~^{+10.2}_{-8.8} \pm 3.5 \pm 5.7)^{\circ}$ and the suppressed amplitude ratio $r_{B} = 0.323 \pm 0.147 \pm 0.023 \pm 0.051$. Here the first uncertainty is statistical, the second is the experimental systematic, and the third is due to the precision of the strong-phase parameters measured from CLEO-c data. The 95% confidence interval on $φ_3$ is $(-29.7,~109.5)^{\circ}$, which is consistent with the current world average.

The data were collected at the $Υ(4S)$ resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy $e^{+}e^{-}$ collider. The ratio $R_{K}$ is measured in five bins of dilepton invariant-mass-squared ($q^{2}$): $q^{2} \in (0.1, 4.0), (4.0, 8.12), (1.0, 6.0)$, $(10.2, 12.8)$ and ($>14.18) GeV^{2}/c^{4}$, along with the whole $q^2$ region. The $R_{K}$ value for $q^{2} \in (1.0, 6.0) GeV^{2}/c^{4}$ is $1.03^{+0.28}_{-0.24} \pm 0.01$. The first and second uncertainties listed are statistical and systematic, respectively. All results for $R_{K}$ are consistent with Standard Model predictions. We also measure $C\!P$-averaged isospin asymmetries in the same $q^{2}$ bins. The results are consistent with a null asymmetry, with the largest difference of 2.6 standard deviations occurring for the $q^{2}\in(1.0,6.0) GeV^{2}/c^{4}$ bin in the mode with muon final states. The measured differential branching fractions, ${d\cal B}/{dq^{2}}$, are consistent with theoretical predictions for charged $B$ decays, while the corresponding values are below the expectations for neutral $B$ decays. We have also searched for lepton-flavor-violating $B \rightarrow Kμ^{\pm}e^{\mp}$ decays and set $90\%$ confidence-level upper limits on the branching fraction in the range of $10^{-8}$ for $B^{+} \rightarrow K^{+}μ^{\pm}e^{\mp}$, and $B^{0} \rightarrow K^{0}μ^{\pm}e^{\mp}$ modes.

We present the first measurements of the absolute branching fractions of $Ξ_c^+$ decays into $Ξ^- π^+ π^+$ and $p K^- π^+$ final states. Our analysis is based on a data set of $(772\pm 11)\times 10^{6}$ $B\bar{B}$ pairs collected at the $Υ(4S)$ resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB $e^+e^-$ collider. We measure the absolute branching fraction of $\bar{B}^{0} \to \barΛ_{c}^{-} Ξ_{c}^{+}$ with the $Ξ_c^+$ recoiling against $\barΛ_c^-$ in $\bar{B}^0$ decays resulting in ${\cal B}(\bar{B}^{0} \to \barΛ_{c}^{-} Ξ_{c}^{+}) = [1.16 \pm 0.42(\rm stat.) \pm 0.15(\rm syst.)] \times 10^{-3}$. We then measure the product branching fractions ${\cal B}(\bar{B}^{0} \to \barΛ_c^- Ξ_c^+){\cal B}(Ξ_c^+ \to Ξ^- π^+ π^+)$ and ${\cal B}(\bar{B}^{0} \to \barΛ_c^- Ξ_c^+){\cal B}(Ξ_c^+ \to p K^- π^+)$. Dividing these product branching fractions by $\bar{B}^{0} \to \barΛ_{c}^{-} Ξ_{c}^{+}$ yields: ${\cal B}(Ξ_c^+ \to Ξ^- π^+ π^+) = [2.86 \pm 1.21(\rm stat.) \pm 0.38(\rm syst.)]\%$ and ${\cal B}(Ξ_c^+ \to p K^- π^+)=[0.45 \pm 0.21(\rm stat.) \pm 0.07(\rm syst.)]\%$. Our result for ${\cal B}(Ξ_c^+ \to Ξ^- π^+ π^+)$ can be combined with $Ξ_c^+$ branching fractions measured relative to $Ξ_c^+ \to Ξ^- π^+ π^+$ to set the absolute scale for many $Ξ_c^+$ branching fractions.

We measure a branching fraction $\mathcal{B}(B^0\to p\bar{p}π^0)= (5.0\pm1.8\pm0.6 )\times 10^{-7}$, where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second is systematic. The signal has a significance of 3.1 standard deviations and constitutes the first evidence for this decay mode. We also search for the intermediate two-body decays $B^{0}\toΔ^+\bar{p}$ and $B^0\to\barΔ^-p$, and set an upper limit on the branching fraction: $\mathcal{B}(B^0\to Δ^+\bar{p})+\mathcal{B}(B^0\to\barΔ^-p)<1.6\times10^{-6}$ at 90% confidence level.

We report measurements of the production cross sections of charged pions, kaons, and protons as a function of fractional energy, the event-shape variable called thrust, and the transverse momentum with respect to the thrust axis. These measurements access the transverse momenta created in the fragmentation process, which are of critical importance to the understanding of any transverse momentum dependent distribution and fragmentation functions. The low transverse momentum part of the cross sections can be well described by Gaussians in transverse momentum as is generally assumed but the fractional-energy dependence is non-trivial and different hadron types have varying Gaussian widths. The width of these Gaussians decreases with thrust and shows an initially rising, then decreasing fractional-energy dependence. The widths for pions and kaons are comparable within uncertainties, while those for protons are significantly narrower. These single-hadron cross sections and Gaussian widths are obtained from a $558\,{\rm fb}^{-1}$ data sample collected at the $Υ(4S)$ resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy $e^+ e^-$ collider.

We find excesses of events above the background levels, with a significances of 2.1 and 0.9 standard deviations for charged and neutral $B \to Y(4260) K$ decays, respectively, taking into account the systematic uncertainties. These correspond to upper limits on the product of branching fractions, ${\cal B}(B^+ \to Y(4260) K^+) \times {\cal B}(Y(4260) \to J/ψπ^+ π^-) <1.4 \times 10^{-5}$ and ${\cal B}(B^0 \to Y(4260) K^0) \times {\cal B}(Y(4260) \to J/ψπ^+ π^-) <1.7 \times 10^{-5}$ at the 90\% confidence level.

We present the first measurements of absolute branching fractions of $Ξ_c^0$ decays into $Ξ^- π^+$, $ΛK^- π^+$, and $p K^- K^- π^+$ final states. The measurements are made using a data set comprising $(772\pm 11)\times 10^{6}$ $B\bar{B}$ pairs collected at the $Υ(4S)$ resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB $e^+e^-$ collider. We first measure the absolute branching fraction for $B^- \to \barΛ_c^- Ξ_c^0$ using a missing-mass technique; the result is ${\cal B}(B^- \to \barΛ_c^- Ξ_c^0) = (9.51 \pm 2.10 \pm 0.88) \times 10^{-4}$. We subsequently measure the product branching fractions ${\cal B}(B^- \to \barΛ_c^- Ξ_c^0){\cal B}(Ξ_c^0 \to Ξ^- π^+)$, ${\cal B}( B^- \to \barΛ_c^- Ξ_c^0) {\cal B}(Ξ_c^0 \to ΛK^- π^+)$, and ${\cal B}( B^- \to \barΛ_c^- Ξ_c^0) {\cal B}(Ξ_c^0 \to p K^- K^- π^+)$ with improved precision. Dividing these product branching fractions by the result for $B^- \to \barΛ_c^- Ξ_c^0$ yields the following branching fractions: ${\cal B}(Ξ_c^0 \to Ξ^- π^+)= (1.80 \pm 0.50 \pm 0.14)\%$, ${\cal B}(Ξ_c^0 \to ΛK^- π^+)=(1.17 \pm 0.37 \pm 0.09)\%$, and ${\cal B}(Ξ_c^0 \to p K^- K^- π^+)=(0.58 \pm 0.23 \pm 0.05)\%.$ For the above branching fractions, the first uncertainties are statistical and the second are systematic. Our result for ${\cal B}(Ξ_c^0 \to Ξ^- π^+)$ can be combined with $Ξ_c^0$ branching fractions measured relative to $Ξ_c^0 \to Ξ^- π^+$ to yield other absolute $Ξ_c^0$ branching fractions.

We present the result of the search for the rare $B$ meson decay of $B^+ \to \ell^{\,+} ν_{\ell} γ$ with $\ell =e,μ$. For the search the full data set recorded by the Belle experiment of $711 \, \mathrm{fb}^{-1}$ integrated luminosity near the $Υ(4S)$ resonance is used. Signal candidates are reconstructed for photon energies $E_γ$ larger than $1 \, \mathrm{GeV}$ using a novel multivariate tagging algorithm. The novel algorithm fully reconstructs the second $B$ meson produced in the collision using hadronic modes and was specifically trained to recognize the signal signature in combination with hadronic tag-side $B$ meson decays. This approach greatly enhances the performance. Background processes that can mimic this signature, mainly charmless semileptonic decays and continuum processes, are suppressed using multivariate methods. The number of signal candidates is determined by analyzing the missing mass squared distribution as inferred from the signal side particles and the kinematic properties of the tag-side $B$ meson. No significant excess over the background-only hypothesis is observed and upper limits on the partial branching fraction $ Δ\mathcal{B} $ with $E_γ> 1 \, \mathrm{GeV}$ individually for electron and muon final states as well as for the average branching fraction of both lepton final states are reported. We find a Bayesian upper limit of $Δ\mathcal{B}( B^{+} \to \ell^{\, +} ν_{\ell} γ) < 3.0 \times 10^{-6}$ at 90% CL and also report an upper limit on the first inverse moment of the light-cone distribution amplitude of the $B$ meson of $λ_B$ at 90% CL.

The measured $CP$ asymmetry parameters are $\mathcal{S} = -0.59\,\pm 0.19~({\rm stat}) \pm 0.03~({\rm syst})$ and $\mathcal{A} = -0.15\,\pm 0.14~({\rm stat})\,^{+0.04}_{-0.03}~({\rm syst})$. The mixing-induced $CP$ asymmetry ($\mathcal{S}$) differs from the case of no $CP$ violation by 3.0 standard deviations, and the direct $CP$ asymmetry ($\mathcal{A}$) is consistent with zero.

We present a new measurement of the CKM matrix element $|V_{cb}|$ from $B^{0} \to D^{*-} \ell^+ ν_\ell$ decays, reconstructed with the full Belle data set of $711 \, \rm fb^{-1}$ integrated luminosity. Two form factor parameterizations, originally conceived by the Caprini-Lellouch-Neubert (CLN) and the Boyd, Grinstein and Lebed (BGL) groups, are used to extract the product $\mathcal{F}(1)η_{\rm EW}|V_{cb}|$ and the decay form factors, where $\mathcal{F}(1)$ is the normalization factor and $η_{\rm EW}$ is a small electroweak correction. In the CLN parameterization we find $\mathcal{F}(1)η_{\rm EW}|V_{cb}| = (35.06 \pm 0.15 \pm 0.56) \times 10^{-3}$, $ρ^{2}=1.106 \pm 0.031 \pm 0.007$, $R_{1}(1)=1.229 \pm 0.028 \pm 0.009$, $R_{2}(1)=0.852 \pm 0.021 \pm 0.006$. For the BGL parameterization we obtain $\mathcal{F}(1)η_{\rm EW}|V_{cb}|= (34.93 \pm 0.23 \pm 0.59)\times 10^{-3}$, which is consistent with the World Average when correcting for $\mathcal{F}(1)η_{\rm EW}$. The branching fraction of $B^{0} \to D^{*-} \ell^+ ν_\ell$ is measured to be $\mathcal{B}(B^{0}\rightarrow D^{*-}\ell^{+}ν_{\ell}) = (4.90 \pm 0.02 \pm 0.16)\%$. We also present a new test of lepton flavor universality violation in semileptonic $B$ decays, $\frac{{\cal B }(B^0 \to D^{*-} e^+ ν)}{{\cal B }(B^0 \to D^{*-} μ^+ ν)} = 1.01 \pm 0.01 \pm 0.03~$. The errors correspond to the statistical and systematic uncertainties respectively. This is the most precise measurement of $\mathcal{F}(1)η_{\rm EW}|V_{cb}|$ and form factors to date and the first experimental study of the BGL form factor parameterization in an experimental measurement.

We report the first observation of the spontaneous polarization of $Λ$ and $\barΛ$ hyperons transverse to the production plane in $e^+e^-$ annihilation, which is attributed to the effect arising from a polarizing fragmentation function. For inclusive $Λ/\barΛ$ production, we also report results with subtracted feed-down contributions from $Σ^0$ and charm. This measurement uses a dataset of 800.4 fb$^{-1}$ collected by the Belle experiment at or near a center-of-mass energy of 10.58 GeV. We observe a significant polarization that rises with the fractional energy carried by the $Λ/\barΛ$ hyperon.

The first search for $Z_{c}$ pair production in $Υ(1S)$ and $Υ(2S)$ decays and in $e^{+}e^{-}$ annihilation at $\sqrt{s}$ = 10.52, 10.58, and 10.867 GeV is conducted using data collected with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric energy electron-positron collider. No significant signals are observed in any of the studied modes, and the 90\% credibility level upper limits on their product branching fractions in $Υ(1S)$ and $Υ(2S)$ decays (${\cal B}(Υ(1S,2S)\to Z^{+}_{c}Z^{(\prime) -}_{c})\times{\cal B}(Z^{+}_{c}\toπ^{+}+c\bar c)$ ($c\bar c=J/ψ$, $χ_{c1}(1P)$, $ψ(2S)$)) and the product of Born cross section and branching fraction for $e^{+}e^{-} \to Z^{+}_{c}Z^{(\prime) -}_{c}$ ($σ(e^+e^- \to Z^{+}_{c}Z^{(\prime) -}_{c})\times {\cal B}(Z^{+}_{c} \to π^+ +c\bar c)$) at $\sqrt{s}$ = 10.52, 10.58, and 10.867 GeV are determined. Here, $Z_{c}$ refers to the $Z_{c}(3900)$ and $Z_{c}(4200)$ observed in the $πJ/ψ$ final state, the $Z_{c1}(4050)$ and $Z_{c2}(4250)$ in the $πχ_{c1}(1P)$ state, and the $Z_{c}(4050)$ and $Z_{c}(4430)$ in the $πψ(2S)$ state.

We report a measurement of time-dependent $CP$ violation parameters in ${B^0 \to K_S^0 ηγ}$ decays. The study is based on a data sample, containing ${772 \times 10^6 B\bar{B}}$ pairs, that was collected at the $Υ(4S)$ resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy $e^+ e^-$ collider. Abstract:
We report a measurement of the branching fraction of the decay $B \rightarrow D^{(*)}π\ellν$. The analysis uses 772$\times 10^6$ $B\bar{B}$ pairs produced in $e^+e^-\rightarrow Υ(4S)$ data recorded by the Belle experiment at the KEKB asymmetric-energy $e^+e^-$ collider. The tagging $B$ meson in the decay is fully reconstructed in a hadronic decay mode. On the signal side, we reconstruct the decay…

On the signal side, we reconstruct the decay $B \rightarrow D^{(*)}π\ellν$ $(\ell=e,μ)$. The measured branching fractions are $\mathcal{B}(B^+ \rightarrow D^-π^+ \ell^+ν)$ = [4.55 $\pm$ 0.27 (stat.) $\pm$ 0.39 (syst.)]$\times 10^{-3}$, $\mathcal{B}(B^0 \rightarrow \bar{D}^0π^- \ell^+ν)$ = [4.05 $\pm$ 0.36 (stat.) $\pm$ 0.41 (syst.)]$\times 10^{-3}$, $\mathcal{B}(B^+ \rightarrow D^{*-}π^+ \ell^+ν)$ = [6.03 $\pm$ 0.43 (stat.) $\pm$ 0.38 (syst.)]$\times 10^{-3}$, and $\mathcal{B}(B^0 \rightarrow \bar{D}^{*0}π^- \ell^+ν)$ = [6.46 $\pm$ 0.53 (stat.) $\pm$ 0.52 (syst.)]$\times 10^{-3}$. These are in good agreement with the current world average values.

We report branching fraction measurements of the decays $B^+\toη\ell^+ν_\ell$ and $B^+\toη^\prime\ell^+ν_\ell$ based on 711~fb$^{-1}$ of data collected near the $Υ(4S)$ resonance with the Belle experiment at the KEKB asymmetric-energy $e^+e^-$ collider. This data sample contains 772 million $B\bar B$~events. One of the two $B$~mesons is fully reconstructed in a hadronic decay mode. Among the remaining ("signal-$B$") daughters, we search for the $η$~meson in two decay channels, $η\toγγ$ and $η\toπ^+π^-π^0$, and reconstruct the $η^{\prime}$~meson in $η^\prime\toηπ^+π^-$ with subsequent decay of the $η$ into $γγ$. Combining the two $η$ modes and using an extended maximum likelihood, the $B^+\toη\ell^+ν_\ell$ branching fraction is measured to be $(4.2\pm 1.1 (\rm stat.)\pm 0.3 (\rm syst.))\times 10^{-5}$. For $B^+\toη^\prime\ell^+ν_\ell$, we observe no significant signal and set an upper limit of $0.72\times 10^{-4}$ at 90\% confidence level.
