Mobile-phone advertising enables marketers to reach customers at a personal level and it enables the measure of costumers reaction by novel approaches, in real time, and at scale. By kee** a device anonymous, we can deliver custom adverts and we can check when the device owner will visit a specific mortar-and-brick location. This is the first step in a sale. By measuring visits and sales, the original marketers can determine their return on advertising and they can prove the efficacy of the marketing investments. We turn our attention to the measure of lift: we define it as the visit acceleration during the campaign flight with respect to a controlled baseline. We present a theoretical description; we describe a general and a simplified approach in composing the exposed and the control baseline; we develop two different vertical approaches with different comparable solutions; finally, we present how to carry the experiments and the measures for a few dozens campaigns; these campaigns range from hundred thousands devices and counting a few hundred visits to a handful locations, to sixty million devices and counting million visits to thousands locations. We care about experiments at scale.

With Twitter's growth and popularity, a huge number of views are shared by users on various topics, making this platform a valuable information source on various political, social, and economic issues. This paper investigates English tweets on the Russia-Ukraine war to analyze trends reflecting users' opinions and sentiments regarding the conflict. The tweets' positive and negative sentiments are analyzed using a BERT-based model, and the time series associated with the frequency of positive and negative tweets for various countries is calculated. Then, we propose a method based on the neighborhood average for modeling and clustering the time series of countries. The clustering results provide valuable insight into public opinion regarding this conflict. Among other things, we can mention the similar thoughts of users from the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and most Western European countries versus the shared views of Eastern European, Scandinavian, Asian, and South American nations toward the conflict.

This paper focuses on improving the resource allocation algorithm in terms of packet delivery ratio (PDR), i.e., the number of successfully received packets sent by end devices (EDs) in a long-range wide-area network (LoRaWAN). Setting the transmission parameters significantly affects the PDR. Employing reinforcement learning (RL), we propose a resource allocation algorithm that enables the EDs to configure their transmission parameters in a distributed manner. We model the resource allocation problem as a multi-armed bandit (MAB) and then address it by proposing a two-phase algorithm named MIX-MAB, which consists of the exponential weights for exploration and exploitation (EXP3) and successive elimination (SE) algorithms. We evaluate the MIX-MAB performance through simulation results and compare it with other existing approaches. Numerical results show that the proposed solution performs better than the existing schemes in terms of convergence time and PDR.

In 2020, COVID-19 became the chief concern of the world and is still reflected widely in all social networks. Each day, users post millions of tweets and comments on this subject, which contain significant implicit information about the public opinion. In this regard, a dataset of COVID-related tweets in English language is collected, which consists of more than two million tweets from March 23 to June 23 of 2020 to extract the feelings of the people in various countries in the early stages of this outbreak. To this end, first, we use a lexicon-based approach in conjunction with the GeoNames geographic database to label the tweets with their locations. Next, a method based on the recently introduced and widely cited RoBERTa model is proposed to analyze their sentimental content. After that, the trend graphs of the frequency of tweets as well as sentiments are produced for the world and the nations that were more engaged with COVID-19. Graph analysis shows that the frequency graphs of the tweets for the majority of nations are significantly correlated with the official statistics of the daily afflicted in them. Moreover, several implicit knowledge is extracted and discussed.

Some studies have investigated the hot topics of tweets in this period; however, little attention has been paid to presenting and analyzing the spatial and temporal trends of Covid-19 topics. In this study, we use the topic modeling method to extract global topics during the nationwide quarantine periods (March 23 to June 23, 2020) on Covid-19 tweets. We implement the Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA) algorithm to extract the topics and then name them with the "reopening", "death cases", "telecommuting", "protests", "anger expression", "masking", "medication", "social distance", "second wave", and "peak of the disease" titles. We additionally analyze temporal trends of the topics for the whole world and four countries. By analyzing the graphs, fascinating results are obtained from altering users' focus on topics over time.

Coronary heart disease (CAD) is one of the crucial reasons for cardiovascular mortality in middle-aged people worldwide. The most typical tool is angiography for diagnosing CAD. The challenges of CAD diagnosis using angiography are costly and have side effects. One of the alternative solutions is the use of machine learning-based patterns for CAD diagnosis. Hence, this paper provides a new hybrid machine learning model called Genetic Support Vector Machine and Analysis of Variance (GSVMA). The ANOVA is known as the kernel function for SVM. The proposed model is performed based on the Z-Alizadeh Sani dataset. A genetic optimization algorithm is used to select crucial features. In addition, SVM with Anova, Linear SVM, and LibSVM with radial basis function methods were applied to classify the dataset. As a result, the GSVMA hybrid method performs better than other methods. This proposed method has the highest accuracy of 89.45% through a 10-fold cross-validation technique with 35 selected features on the Z-Alizadeh Sani dataset. Therefore, the genetic optimization algorithm is very effective for improving accuracy. The computer-aided GSVMA method can be helped clinicians with CAD diagnosis.

We have theoretically studied the spin structure factors of Heisenberg model on honeycomb lattice in the presence of longitudinal magnetic field, i.e. magnetic field perpendicular to the honeycomb plane, and Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction. The possible effects of next nearest neighbor exchange constant are investigated in terms of anisotropy in the Heisenberg interactions. This spatial anisotropy is due to the difference between nearest neighbor exchange coupling constant and next nearest neighbor exchange coupling constant. The original spin model hamiltonian is mapped to a bosonic model via a hard core bosonic transformation where an infinite hard core repulsion is imposed to constrain one boson occupation per site. Using Green's function approach, the energy spectrum of quasiparticle excitation has been obtained. The spectrum of the bosonic gas has been implemented in order to obtain two particle propagator which corresponds to spin structure factor of original Heisenberg chain model Hamiltonian. The results show the position of peak in the dynamical transverse spin structure factor at fixed value for Dzyaloshinskii Moriya interaction moves to higher frequency with magnetic field. Also the intensity of dynamical transverse spin structure factor is not affected by magnetic field. However the Dzyaloshinskii Moriya interaction strength causes to decrease the intensity of dynamical transverse spin structure factor. The increase of magnetic field does not varied the frequency position of peaks in dynamical longitudinal spin susceptibility however the intensity reduces with magnetic field. Our results show static transverse structure factor is found to be monotonically decreasing with magnetic field and temperature for different vlaues of next nearest neighbor coupling exchange constant.

We study the effects of longitudinal magnetic field and temperature on the thermodynamic properties of two dimensional Heisenberg antiferromagnet on the honeycomb lattice in the presence of anisotropic Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction and next nearest neighbor coupling exchange constant. In particular, the temperature dependence of specific heat have been investigated for various physical parameters in the model Hamiltonian. Using a hard core bosonic representation, the behavior of thermodynamic properties has been studied by means of excitation spectrum of mapped bosonic gas. The effect of Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction term on thermodynamic properties has also been studied via the bosonic model by Green's function approach. Furthermore we have studied the magnetic field dependence of specific heat and magnetization for various anisotropy parameters. At low temperatures, the specific heat is found to be monotonically increasing with temperature for magnetic fields in the gapped field induced phase region. We have found the magnetic field dependence of specific heat shows a monotonic decreasing behavior for various magnetic fields due to increase of energy gap in the excitation spectrum. Also we have studied the dependence of magnetization on Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction strength for different next nearest neighbor coupling constant.

In this paper, we present a Kane-Mele model in the presence of magnetic field and next nearest neighbors hop** amplitudes for investigations the electronic and optical properties of monolayer Germanene. Specially, we address the dynamical conductivity of the structure as a function of photon frequency and in the presence of magnetic field and spin-orbit coupling at finite temperature. Using linear response theory and Green's function approach, the frequency dependence of optical conductivity has been obtained in the context of Kane-Mele model Hamiltonian. Our results show a finite Drude response at low frequency at non zero value for magnetic field in the presence of spin-orbit coupling. However Drude weight gets remarkable amount in the presence of electron do**. The thermal conductivity and specific heat increase with increasing the temperature at low amounts of temperature due to the increasing of thermal energy of charge carriers and excitation of them to the conduction bands. The results for Seebeck coefficient show the sign of thermopower is negative in the presence of spin-orbit coupling. Also we have studied the temperature dependence of electrical conductivity of Germanene monolayer due to both spin orbit coupling and magnetic field factors in details.

Green's function approach has been implemented to find the behavior of dynamical spin susceptibilities of Germanene layer within linear response theoryand in the presence of magnetic field and spin-orbit coupling at finite temperature. Our results show the magnetic excitation mode for both longitudinal and transverse components of spin tends to higher frequencies with spin-orbit coupling strength. Moreover the frequency positions of sharp peaks in longitudinal dynamical spin susceptibility are not affected by variation of magnetic field while the peaks in transverse dynamical susceptibility moves to lower frequencies with magnetic field. The effects of electron do** on frequency behaviors of spin susceptibilities have been addressed in details. We introduce a new color index consisting of two spectral band width to measure TiO absorption band strength centered at 567 nm. Based on the most up-to-date line list for TiO we regenerate a grid of synthesized spectra and investigate the temperature sensitivity of the index. The new index behave similar to older Wing TiO-index where itdecreas emonotonically from coolest atmosphere with Teff =2800 up to Teff =4000 where the TiO molecules disassociate. To further examine the feasibility of the new index we reproduce the calibration using a list of observed high resolution spectra and found similar results. This index extend TiO absorption band capability to measure effective temperature of late K to M stars to visual spectrum where it is more accessible to small telescopes for long term dedicated observation.
