As the prevalence of data-driven technologies in healthcare continues to rise, concerns regarding data privacy and security become increasingly paramount. This thesis aims to address the vulnerability of personalized healthcare models, particularly in the context of ECG monitoring, to adversarial attacks that compromise patient privacy. We propose an approach termed "Machine Unlearning" to mitigate the impact of exposed data points on machine learning models, thereby enhancing model robustness against adversarial attacks while preserving individual privacy. Specifically, we investigate the efficacy of Machine Unlearning in the context of personalized ECG monitoring, utilizing a dataset of clinical ECG recordings. Our methodology involves training a deep neural classifier on ECG data and fine-tuning the model for individual patients. We demonstrate the susceptibility of fine-tuned models to adversarial attacks, such as the Fast Gradient Sign Method (FGSM), which can exploit additional data points in personalized models. To address this vulnerability, we propose a Machine Unlearning algorithm that selectively removes sensitive data points from fine-tuned models, effectively enhancing model resilience against adversarial manipulation. Experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of our approach in mitigating the impact of adversarial attacks while maintaining the pre-trained model accuracy.

In this article, we give bounds for the natural invariant norm of cusp forms of real weight $k$ and character $χ$ for any cofinite Fuchsian subgroup $Γ\subset\mathrm{SL}_{2}(\mathbb{R})$. Using the representation of Jacobi cusp forms of integral weight $k$ and index $m$ for the modular group $Γ_{0}=\mathrm{SL}_{2}(\mathbb{Z})$ as linear combinations of modular forms of weight $k-\frac{1}{2}$ for some congruence subgroup of $Γ_{0}$ (depending on $m$) and suitable Jacobi theta functions, we derive bounds for the natural invariant norm of these Jacobi cusp forms. More specifically, letting $J_{k,m}^{\mathrm{cusp}}(Γ_{0})$ denote the complex vector space of Jacobi cusp forms under consideration and $\Vert\cdot\Vert_{\mathrm{Pet}}$ the pointwise Petersson norm on $J_{k,m}^{\mathrm{cusp}}(Γ_{0})$, we prove that for given $ε>0$, the bound \begin{align*} \sup_{(τ,z)\in\mathbb{H}\times\mathbb{C}}\Vert f(τ,z)\Vert_{\mathrm{Pet}}=O_ε\big(k^{\frac{3}{4}}m^{1+ε}\big) \end{align*} holds for any $f\in J_{k,m}^{\mathrm{cusp}}(Γ_{0})$, which is normalized with respect to the Petersson inner product, where the implied constant depends only on the choice of $ε>0$.

Our first main result estimates the corresponding Bergman metric on $X$ in terms of the Poincaré metric. We then consider a certain natural embedding of the symmetric product of $X$ into a Grassmannian parametrizing subspaces of fixed dimension of the space of all global holomorphic sections of $Ω^{\otimes k}_X$. The Fubini-Study metric on the Grassmannian restricts to a Kähler metric on the symmetric product of $X$. The volume form for this restricted metric on the symmetric product is estimated in terms of the Bergman kernel of $Ω^{\otimes k}_X$ and the volume form for the orbifold Kähler form on the symmetric product given by the Poincaré metric on $X$.

Kramer for compact hyperbolic Riemann surfaces to noncompact hyperbolic Riemann orbisurfaces of finite volume, which can be realized as the quotient space of the action of a Fuchsian subgroup of the first kind acting on the hyperbolic upper half-plane.
The key identity of J. Jorgenson and J. Kramer relates the two natural metrics, namely the hyperbolic metric and the canonical metric defined on a hyperbolic Riemann surface. Via the spectral expansion of the hyperbolic heat kernel, this identity serves as a trace formula relating the weight 2 cusp forms with Maass forms. Our result is an extension of the key identity to elliptic fixed points and cusps at the level of currents acting on a certain space of singular functions.
Our result serves as the starting point for extending the work of J. Jorgenson and J. Kramer to non compact hyperbolic Riemann orbisurfaces. In particular, to the problem of deriving bounds for the canonical Green's function defined on a noncompact hyperbolic Riemann orbisurface of finite volume, which is being addressed in an upcoming article by the same author.
