Cardiovascular disease remains a leading cause of mortality in the contemporary world. Its association with smoking, elevated blood pressure, and cholesterol levels underscores the significance of these risk factors. This study addresses the challenge of predicting myocardial illness, a formidable task in medical research. Accurate predictions are pivotal for refining healthcare strategies. This investigation conducts a comparative analysis of six distinct machine learning models: Logistic Regression, Support Vector Machine, Decision Tree, Bagging, XGBoost, and LightGBM. The attained outcomes exhibit promise, with accuracy rates as follows: Logistic Regression (81.00%), Support Vector Machine (75.01%), XGBoost (92.72%), LightGBM (90.60%), Decision Tree (82.30%), and Bagging (83.01%). Notably, XGBoost emerges as the top-performing model. These findings underscore its potential to enhance predictive precision for coronary infarction. As the prevalence of cardiovascular risk factors persists, incorporating advanced machine learning techniques holds the potential to refine proactive medical interventions.

This study delves into the application of graph neural networks in the realm of traffic forecasting, a crucial facet of intelligent transportation systems. Accurate traffic predictions are vital for functions like trip planning, traffic control, and vehicle routing in such systems. Three prominent GNN architectures Graph Convolutional Networks (Graph Sample and Aggregation) and Gated Graph Neural Networks are explored within the context of traffic prediction. Each architecture's methodology is thoroughly examined, including layer configurations, activation functions,and hyperparameters. The primary goal is to minimize prediction errors, with GGNNs emerging as the most effective choice among the three models. The research outlines outcomes for each architecture, elucidating their predictive performance through root mean squared error and mean absolute error (MAE). Hypothetical results reveal intriguing insights: GCNs display an RMSE of 9.10 and an MAE of 8.00, while GraphSAGE shows improvement with an RMSE of 8.3 and an MAE of 7.5. Gated Graph Neural Networks (GGNNs) exhibit the lowest RMSE at 9.15 and an impressive MAE of 7.1, positioning them as the frontrunner.

In this study, we systematically investigated the mechanical responses of monolayer molybdenum ditelluride (MoTe2) using molecular dynamics (MD) simulations. The tensile behavior of trigonal prismatic phase (2H phase) MoTe2 under uniaxial strain was simulated in the armchair and zigzag directions. We also investigated the crack formation and propagation in both armchair and zigzag directions at 10K and 300K to understand the fracture behavior of monolayer MoTe2 at different temperatures. The MD simulations show clean cleavage for the armchair direction, and the cracks were numerous and scattered in the case of the zigzag direction. Finally, we investigated the effect of temperature on Young's modulus and fracture stress of monolayer MoTe2. The results show that at a strain rate of 10^-4 ps^-1, the fracture strength of monolayer MoTe2 in the armchair and zigzag directions at 10K is 16.33 GPa (11.43 N/m) and 13.71 GPa (9.46 N/m) under a 24% and 18% fracture strain, respectively. The fracture strength of monolayer MoTe2 in the armchair and zigzag direction at 600K is 10.81 GPa (7.56 N/m) and 10.13 GPa (7.09 N/m) under a 12.5% and 12.47% fracture strain, respectively.

There are a variety of features of the human voice that can be classified as pitch, timbre, loudness, and vocal tone. It is observed in numerous incidents that human expresses their feelings using different vocal qualities when they are speaking. The primary objective of this research is to recognize different emotions of human beings such as anger, sadness, fear, neutrality, disgust, pleasant surprise, and happiness by using several MATLAB functions namely, spectral descriptors, periodicity, and harmonicity. To accomplish the work, we analyze the CREMA-D (Crowd-sourced Emotional Multimodal Actors Data) & TESS (Toronto Emotional Speech Set) datasets of human speech. The audio file contains data that have various characteristics (e.g., noisy, speedy, slow) thereby the efficiency of the ML (Machine Learning) models increases significantly. The EMD (Empirical Mode Decomposition) is utilized for the process of signal decomposition. Then, the features are extracted through the use of several techniques such as the MFCC, GTCC, spectral centroid, roll-off point, entropy, spread, flux, harmonic ratio, energy, skewness, flatness, and audio delta. The data is trained using some renowned ML models namely, Support Vector Machine, Neural Network, Ensemble, and KNN. The algorithms show an accuracy of 67.7%, 63.3%, 61.6%, and 59.0% respectively for the test data and 77.7%, 76.1%, 99.1%, and 61.2% for the training data. We have conducted experiments using Matlab and the result shows that our model is very prominent and flexible than existing similar works.
