Dynamical Analysis of a Cocaine-Heroin Epidemiological Model with Spatial Distributions
Abstract: This article conducts an in-depth investigation of a new spatio-temporal model for the cocaine-heroin epidemiological model with vital dynamics, incorporating the Laplacian operator. The study rigorously establishes the existence, uniqueness, non-negativity, and boundedness of solutions for the proposed model. Stability Analysis of a Diffusive SVIR Epidemic Model with Distributed Delay, Imperfect Vaccine and General Incidence Rate

Dynamical Behavior of a Stochastic Epidemiological Model: Stationary Distribution and Extinction of a SIRS Model with Stochastic Perturbations
Abstract: This paper deals with a new epidemiological model of SIRS with stochastic perturbations. The primary objective is to establish the existence of a unique non-negative nonlocal solution. Using the basic reproduction number $\mathscr{R}_0$ derived from the associated deterministic model, we demonstrate the existence of a stationary distribution in the stochastic model. Optimal Control of a Diffusive Epidemiological Model Involving the Caputo-Fabrizio Fractional Time-Derivative

Regularity of Solutions to Second-Order Integral Functionals in Variational Calculus
Abstract: We obtain regularity conditions of a new type of problems of the calculus of variations with second-order derivatives. As a corollary, we get non-occurrence of the Lavrentiev phenomenon. Our main result asserts that autonomous integral functionals of the calculus of variations with a Lagrangian having superlinearity partial derivatives with respect to the higher-order derivatives admit only mini… ▽ More

Existence of Infinitely Many Solutions for a Quasilinear Elliptic Problem on Time Scales
Abstract: We study a boundary-value quasilinear elliptic problem on a generic time scale. Making use of the fixed-point index theory, sufficient conditions are given to obtain existence, multiplicity, and infinite solvability of positive solutions.

Necessary Optimality Conditions for a Dead Oil Isotherm Optimal Control Problem
Abstract: We study a system of nonlinear partial differential equations resulting from the traditional modelling of oil engineering within the framework of the mechanics of a continuous medium. Recent results on the problem provide existence, uniqueness and regularity of the optimal solution. Here we obtain the first necessary optimality conditions.
