The mass spectrum of different meson particles is generated using an effective Lagrangian of the extended linear-sigma model (eLSM) for scalar and pseudoscalar meson fields and quark flavors, up, down, strange, and charm. Analytical formulas for the masses of scalar, pseudoscalar, vector, and axialvector meson states are derived assuming global chiral symmetry. The various eLSM parameters are analytically deduced and numerically computed. This enables accurate estimations of the masses of sixteen non-charmed and thirteen charmed meson states at vanishing temperature. The comparison of these results to recent compilation of the particle data group (PDG) allows to draw the conclusion that the masses of sixteen non-charmed and thirteen charmed meson states calculated in the eLSM are in good agreement with the PDG. This shows that the eLSM, with its configurations and parameters, is an effective theoretical framework for determining the mass spectra of various non-charmed and charmed meson states, particularly at vanishing temperature.

Estimating the speed of vehicles using traffic cameras is a crucial task for traffic surveillance and management, enabling more optimal traffic flow, improved road safety, and lower environmental impact. Transportation-dependent systems, such as for navigation and logistics, have great potential to benefit from reliable speed estimation. While there is prior research in this area reporting competitive accuracy levels, their solutions lack reproducibility and robustness across different datasets. To address this, we provide a novel framework for automatic real-time vehicle speed calculation, which copes with more diverse data from publicly available traffic cameras to achieve greater robustness. Our model employs novel techniques to estimate the length of road segments via depth map prediction. Additionally, our framework is capable of handling realistic conditions such as camera movements and different video stream inputs automatically. We compare our model to three well-known models in the field using their benchmark datasets. While our model does not set a new state of the art regarding prediction performance, the results are competitive on realistic CCTV videos. At the same time, our end-to-end pipeline offers more consistent results, an easier implementation, and better compatibility. Its modular structure facilitates reproducibility and future improvements.

For the study of the structure of baryons it is necessary to investigate the production of a baryon pair in $e^+e^-$ annihilation. The baryon-antibaryon pair production at the electron-positron linear collider makes it possible to investigate in detail the basic structure of the Standard Model. The creation of baryon-antibaryon pairs in electron-positron annihilation provides an increasingly powerful tool at higher c.m. energies. We present phenomenological results for $Σ^0 \bar Σ^0$ production in $e^+e^-$ interaction at the BESIII and BABAR Colliders. In the present work, we investigate a hyperon pair produced in the reaction $e^+e^- \to Σ^0 \barΣ^0$. We calculate the total cross section of the process $e^+e^- \to Σ^0 \bar Σ^0$ taking into account the contributions of the $D$-meson loop and three gluon loops as well as the interference of all diagrams to the Born approximation. For these contributions large relative phases are generated with respect to the pure electromagnetic mechanism. For the large momentum transferred region we obtain as a byproduct a fit of the electromagnetic form factor of the $Σ$ hyperon.

We have investigated the contribution of the Higher Twist (HT) Feynman diagrams to the large-$p_T$ inclusive $ρ_L$ meson production cross section in proton-proton and proton-antiproton collisions and we discuss the phenomenological consequences of possible HT contributions to cross sections. To extract HT subprocesses from Leading Twist (LT) background, we use various $ρ_L$ meson distribution amplitudes(DAs). In the numerical calculations, the dependencies of the HT contribution on the transverse momentum and the rapidity are discussed with special emphasis on DAs. Analysis of our results shows that HT contributions decrease more rapidly than LT contributions with increasing $p_T$. The preceding results demonstrate that HT contributions must be considered especially in the region of low $p_T$ and the HT contribution to the cross-section depends on the choice of the meson distribution amplitudes.

The analytical solution of the fractional radial Schrodinger equation for the hot-magnetized interaction potential is displayed by using the conformable fractional Nikiforov-Uvarov method. Analytical expressions for the energy eigenvalues and the radial wave function are obtained for arbitrary quantum numbers. Next, we study the charmonium and bottmonium binding energies for different magnetic field values in the thermal medium. The effect of the fractional parameter on the decomposition temperature is also analyzed for charmonium and bottomonium in the presence of hot magnetized media. We conclude that the dissociation of heavy quarkonium in the fractional nonrelativistic potential model is more practical than the classical nonrelativistic potential model.

The relativistic wave equations determine the dynamics of quantum fields in the context of quantum field theory. One of the conventional tools for dealing with the relativistic bound-state problem is the Klein-Fock-Gordon equation. In this work, using a developed scheme, we present how to surmount the centrifugal part and solve the modified Klein-Fock-Gordon equation for the linear combination of Hulthén and Yukawa potentials. In particular, we show that the relativistic energy eigenvalues and corresponding radial wave functions are obtained from supersymmetric quantum mechanics by applying the shape invariance concept. Here, both scalar potential conditions, which are whether equal and non-equal to vector potential, are considered in the calculation. The energy levels and corresponding normalized eigenfunctions are represented as a recursion relation regarding the Jacobi polynomials for arbitrary $l$ states. Beyond that, a closed-form of the normalization constant of the wave functions is found. Furthermore, we state that the energy eigenvalues are quite sensitive with potential parameters for the quantum states. The non-relativistic and relativistic results obtained within SUSY QM overlap entirely with the results obtained by ordinary quantum mechanics, and it displays that the mathematical implementation of SUSY quantum mechanics is quite perfect.

We examine the bound state solutions of the Dirac equation under the spin and pseudospin symmetries for a new suggested combined potential, Hulten plus a class of Yukawa potential including a Coulomb-like tensor interaction. An improved scheme is employed to deal with the centrifugal (pseudo-centrifugal) term. Using the Nikiforov-Uvarov and SUSYQM methods, we analytically develop the relativistic energy eigenvalues and associated Dirac spinor components of wave functions. We find that both methods give entirely the same results. Modifiable of our results into some particular potential cases, useful for other physical systems, are also discussed. We obtain complete agreement with the findings of previous works. The spin and pseudospin bound state energy spectra for various levels are presented in the absence as well as the presence of tensor coupling. Both energy spectrums are sensitive with regards to the quantum numbers $κ$ and $n$, as well as the parameter $δ$. We also notice that the degeneracies between Dirac spin and pseudospin doublet eigenstate partners are completely removed by the tensor interaction. Finally, we present the parameter space of allowable bound state regions of potential strength $V_0$ with constants for both considered symmetry limits $C_S$ and $C_{PS}$.

It is shown that the system under consideration has both a discrete at $\left|E\right|<Mc^{2} $ and a continuous at $\left|E\right|>Mc^{2} $ energy spectra. We find the analytical expressions for the corresponding complete wave functions. A dynamical symmetry group $SU(1,1)$ for the radial wave equation of motion is constructed. The algebra of generators of this group makes it possible to find energy spectra in a purely algebraic way. It is also shown that relativistic expressions for wave functions, energy spectra and group generators in the limit $c\to \infty $ go over into the corresponding expressions for the nonrelativistic problem.

By means of the Nikiforov-Uvarov (NU) and supersymmetric quantum mechanics (SUSYQM) methods, we present the energy spectrum for any $\ell$-state and the corresponding radial wave functions in terms of the hypergeometric functions. From both methods we obtain the same results. Several special cases for the potentials which are useful for other physical systems are also discussed. These are consistent with those results in previous works. We obtain that the energy level $E$ is sensitive to the potential parameter $δ$ at fixed values of other parameters and increases when $δ$ runs from $0.05$ to $0.3$. Furthermore, $E$ is sensitive to the quantum numbers $\ell$ and $n_r$ for a given $δ$, as expected.

The feature of the HT effects may help the theoretical interpretation of the future PANDA experiment. The dependencies of the HT contribution on the transverse momentum $p_T$, the center of mass energy $\sqrt s$, and the variable $x_T$ are discussed numerically with special emphasis put on DAs. Moreover, the obtained analytical and numerical results for the differential cross section of the pion pair production are compared with the elastic backward scattering of the pion on the proton. We show that the main contribution to the inclusive cross section comes from the HT direct production process via gluon-gluon fusion. Also, it is strongly dependent on the pion DAs, momentum cut-off parameter $\triangle p$ and $<{q_{T}^2}>$ which is the mean square of the intrinsic momentum of either initial parton.

In the numerics the dependencies of the HT contribution on the transverse momentum $p_T$, the rapidity $y$, and the variable $x_T$ are discussed with special emphasis put on DAs. The HT contribution is also compared with the leading-twist ones. It is shown that the HT contributions are dependent on the kaon DAs and also some other phenomenological parameters such as momentum cut-off parameter $Δp$. Inclusive kaon pair production presents a remarkable test case in which HT terms dominate those of LT in certain kinematic regions. The HT direct production process via gluon-gluon fusion contributes significantly to the inclusive cross section at large $p_T$.

For that purpose, the multidimensional Schrodinger equation is solved analytically by Nikiforov-Uvarov (NU) method for the real part of the potential in an anisotropic medium. The binding energy and dissociation temperature are calculated. In comparison with an isotropic medium, the binding energy of quarkonium is enhanced in the presence of an anisotropic medium. The present results show that the dissociation temperature increases with increasing anisotropic parameter for 1S state of the charmonium and bottomonium. In mean-field approximation, the SU($4$) Polyakov linear - sigma model (PLSM) is constructed in order to characterize the quark-hadron phase structure in a wide range of temperatures and densities. The chiral condensates $σ_l$, $σ_s$ and $σ_c$ for light, strange and charm quarks, respectively, and the deconfinement order-parameters $φ$ and $φ^*$ shall be analyzed at finite temperatures and densities. We conclude that the critical temperatures corresponding to charm condensates are greater than that to strange and light ones, respectively. Thus, the charm condensates are likely not affected by the QCD phase transition. Furthermore, increasing the chemical potentials decreases the corresponding critical temperatures.

We provide complete one-loop predictions for the direct production of the neutralino pairs via photon-photon collisions which appears for the first time at one-loop level in the minimal supersymmetric standard model at the International Linear Collider. We present a comprehensive investigation of the dependence of total cross section on the center-of-mass energy and the tan$β$ for three different scenarios based on gaugino/Higgsino fractions of the neutralinos. Furthermore, by investigating the behavior with the most relevant parameters $μ$ and $M_2$, we exhibit regions of the parameter space where the enhancement of the cross section is large enough to be detectable at linear colliders. Our analysis shows that the corresponding production cross section reaches its highest values when the lightest neutralino $\widetildeχ_{1}^0$ has a dominant Higgsino component and/or the next-to-lightest neutralino $\widetildeχ_{2}^0$ has a dominant gaugino component.

We considered the three jet production processes in the region of the incident lepton, photon, quark or gluon fragmentation. The fourth jet is created by the recoil proton. The kinematics of jet production is discussed in jets production in the fragmentation region. The non-trivial relation between the momenta of the recoil proton and the polar angle of its emission was derived.
Based on this formalism the differential cross sections of QCD processes $gp \to (ggg) p; \,\,\,qp \to (q \bar{Q} Q) p; \,\,\, gp \to (g Q \bar{Q})p$ were obtained, including the distribution on transverse momentum component of jets fragments. It was shown that the role of the contribution of "non-Abelian" nature may become dominant in a particular kinematics of the final particles. The kinematics, in which the initial particle changes the direction of movement to the opposite one, was considered in the case of heavy quark-antiquark pair production.
Different distributions, including spectral, azimuthal and polar angle distribution on the fragments of jets can be arranged using our results. We present besides the behavior of the ratio of non-Abelian contribution to the cross section to the total contribution. We show that it dominates for large values of the transverse momenta of jets component (gluons or quarks). Some historical introduction to the cross-sections of peripheral processes, including 2$γ$ creation mechanism production, including the result Brodsky-Kinoshita-Terazawa, is given.

Particular attention is devoted to the $ε$ dependence of radiative corrections, which is directly related to the electric proton form factor. We consider in particular the effects of the interference terms for soft and hard photon emission. Both quadratic amplitude describing the collinear emission along the scattered electron as well as the interference with the amplitudes of emission from the initial electron and the emission from protons are important in leading and next to leading approximation and they may compensate in particular kinematical conditions.

We provide an analysis of the dependence of the Born cross-sections for $pp\rightarrow\widetildeχ_{i}^{0}\widetildeχ_{j}^{0}$ and the EW corrections to this process, on the center-of-mass energy $\sqrt s$, on the $M_2$-$μ$ mass plane and on the squark mass for the three different scenarios. The numerical results show that the relative correction can be reached the few tens of percent level as the increment of the center-of-mass energy, and the evaluation of EW corrections is a crucial task for all accurate measurements of the neutralino pair production processes.

We consider that the direct production of a single neutralino in proton-proton collision at the CERN Large Hadron Collider focusing on the lightest neutralino is possibly a candidate for the dark matter and escapes detection. We present a comprehensive investigation of the dependence of total cross sections of the processes $pp(q\bar q)\rightarrow\widetildeχ_{i}^{0}\widetilde{\text{g}}$, $pp(q \text{g}) \rightarrow\widetildeχ_{i}^{0}\widetilde{q}_{L,R}$, $pp(q\bar{q}^{\prime})\rightarrow\widetildeχ_{i}^{0}\widetildeχ_{j}^{+}$ at tree-level and $pp(\text{g}\text{g})\rightarrow\widetildeχ_{i}^{0}\widetilde{\text{g}}$ at one-loop level, on the center-of-mass energy, on the $M_2$-$μ$ mass plane, on the squark mass and on the $\tanβ$ for the Constrained Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model and the three extremely different scenarios in the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model. In particular, the cross section of the process $p p \to \widetildeχ_{2}^{0}\widetildeχ_{1}^{+}$ in the gaugino-like scenario can reach about 0.6 (1.7) pb at a center-of-mass energy of $\sqrt{s}=$ 7 (14) TeV. We derive therefrom that our results might lead to new aspects corresponding to experimental explorations, and these dependencies might be used as bases of experimental research of the single neutralino production at hadron colliders.

Abstract:
The process $e^+e^- \to π^0ρ$ is described in the framework of the expanded NJL model in the energy region from 0.9 GeV to 1.5 GeV. The contribution of intermediate state with vector mesons $ω(782), \,\,φ(1020)$, and $ω'(1420)$, where $ω'$ is the first radial excitation of $ω$ - meson was taken into account. Results obtained are in satisfactory agreement with experimental data.

We compare the resummed "naive non-abelianization" higher-twist cross sections with the ones obtained in the framework of the frozen coupling approach and leading-twist cross section. The structure of infrared renormalon singularities of the higher twist subprocess cross section and it's resummed expression are found. We discuss the phenomenological consequences of possible higher-twist contributions to the pion production in proton-proton collisions in within NNA.

Abstract:
Differential distributions in the $π_0π_0γ$ system created in the annihilation channel of an electron-positron collision are considered. The energy fractions of the pions (Dalitz-plot) distribution are presented in a general form and in approximation of intermediate vector mesons (excited and ordinary ones). It is pointed out that in relevant experiments the generalized polarizability of the neutra…

Differential cross section of processes with high energy $p(\bar p)p$ collisions in frames of QED: creation of scalar, pseudoscalar and lepton pair - are considered in Weizsäcker - Williams approximation. In frames of QCD processes with conversion of initial proton (antiproton) to fermionic jets accompanied with one gluon jet as well as the state of two gluons and quark-antiquark pair (with out rapidity gap) are considered in frames of effective Reggion action of theory of Lipatov. Process of creation of a Higgs boson accompanied with two fermionic jets is considered. The azimuthal correlation in process of two gluon jet separated by rapidity gap is investigated. Effects of gluon reggeization are taken into account. Some distributions are illustrated by numerical calculations.

In this article, we investigate the next-to-leading order contribution of the higher-twist Feynman diagrams to the large-$p_T$ inclusive pion production cross section in proton-proton collisions and present the general formulae for the higher-twist differential cross sections in the case of the running coupling and frozen coupling approaches. We compared the resummed next-to-leading order higher-twist cross sections with the ones obtained in the framework of the frozen coupling approach and leading-twist cross section. The structure of infrared renormalon singularities of the higher twist subprocess cross section and it's resummed expression (the Borel sum) are found. It is shown that the resummed result depends on the choice of the meson wave functions used in the calculations. We discuss the phenomenological consequences of possible higher-twist contributions to the meson production in proton-proton collisions in next-to-leading order at RHIC.

Abstract:
The annihilation of proton and antiproton to electron-positron pair, including radiative corrections due to the emission of virtual and real photons is considered. The results are generalized to leading and next-to leading approximations. The relevant distributions are derived and numerical applications are given in the kinematical range accessible to the PANDA experiment at the FAIR facility.
