Deepfake technology is widely used, which has led to serious worries about the authenticity of digital media, making the need for trustworthy deepfake face recognition techniques more urgent than ever. This study employs a resource-effective and transparent cost-sensitive deep learning method to effectively detect deepfake faces in videos. To create a reliable deepfake detection system, four pre-trained Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) models: XceptionNet, InceptionResNetV2, EfficientNetV2S, and EfficientNetV2M were used. FaceForensics++ and CelebDf-V2 as benchmark datasets were used to assess the performance of our method. To efficiently process video data, key frame extraction was used as a feature extraction technique. Our main contribution is to show the models adaptability and effectiveness in correctly identifying deepfake faces in videos. Furthermore, a cost-sensitive neural network method was applied to solve the dataset imbalance issue that arises frequently in deepfake detection. The XceptionNet model on the CelebDf-V2 dataset gave the proposed methodology a 98% accuracy, which was the highest possible whereas, the InceptionResNetV2 model, achieves an accuracy of 94% on the FaceForensics++ dataset. Skin cancer is a serious worldwide health issue, precise and early detection is essential for better patient outcomes and effective treatment. In this research, we use modern deep learning methods and explainable artificial intelligence (XAI) approaches to address the problem of skin cancer detection. To categorize skin lesions, we employ four cutting-edge pre-trained models: XceptionNet, EfficientNetV2S, InceptionResNetV2, and EfficientNetV2M. Image augmentation approaches are used to reduce class imbalance and improve the generalization capabilities of our models. Our models decision-making process can be clarified because of the implementation of explainable artificial intelligence (XAI). In the medical field, interpretability is essential to establish credibility and make it easier to implement AI driven diagnostic technologies into clinical workflows. We determined the XceptionNet architecture to be the best performing model, achieving an accuracy of 88.72%. Our study shows how deep learning and explainable artificial intelligence (XAI) can improve skin cancer diagnosis, laying the groundwork for future developments in medical image analysis. These technologies ability to allow for early and accurate detection could enhance patient care, lower healthcare costs, and raise the survival rates for those with skin cancer. Abstract:
This work studies the systematic reduced transition probabilities B(E2), intrinsic quadrupole moments and deformation parameters of Pd isotopes with even neutrons from N= 62 to 66. The downward reduced transition probabilities B(E2) from gamma transition 8+ to 6+, 6+ to 4+, 4+ to 2+ and 2+ to 0+ states of even-even 108-112Pd isotopes were calculated by the Interacting Boson Model (IBM-1) and compa…

The downward reduced transition probabilities B(E2) from gamma transition 8+ to 6+, 6+ to 4+, 4+ to 2+ and 2+ to 0+ states of even-even 108-112Pd isotopes were calculated by the Interacting Boson Model (IBM-1) and compared with the available previous experimental results. The ratio of the excitation energies of the first 4+ and the first 2+ excited states, R4/2, is also studied for the classification of symmetry of these nuclei. Furthermore we have studied systematically the transition rate R of some of the low-lying quadrupole collective states in comparison with the available experimental data. The associated quadrupole moments and deformation parameters have been calculated. The results of this calculation are in good agreement with the corresponding available experimental data. The 108-112Pd isotopes show the O(6) symmetry.

In this paper, nuclear structure of yrast state bands of even-even 120-130Te isotopes has been studied under the frame work of interacting boson model (IBM-1). The theoretical energy levels for Z=52, even N = 68-78 up to 12+ state have been obtained by using the MatLab 6.5 computer program. The ratio of the excitation energies of first 4+ and first 2+ excited states, R4/2, has been also calculated for those nuclei. The values of the parameters in the IBM-1 hamiltonian yield the best fit to the experimental energy spectrum. The results are compared with the most recent experimental values where an acceptable degree of agreement is achieved. Moreover, as a measure to quantify the evolution, we have studied the transition rate R of some of the low-lying quadrupole collective states in comparison to the available experimental data. In this paper, the properties of even 120-130Te isotopes have been considered to the U(5) transitional region of IBM-1.

We introduce an accurate and efficient algebraic technique for the computation of the vibrational spectra of triatomic molecules, of both linear and bent equilibrium geometry. The full three-dimensional potential energy surface (PES), which can be based on entirely {\it ab initio} data, is parameterized as a product Morse-cosine expansion, expressed in bond-angle internal coordinates, and includes explicit interactions among the local modes. We describe the stretching degrees of freedom in the framework of a Morse-type expansion on a suitable algebraic basis, which provides exact analytical expressions for the elements of a sparse Hamiltonian matrix. Likewise, we use a cosine power expansion on a spherical harmonics basis for the bending degree of freedom. The resulting matrix representation in the product space is very sparse and vibrational levels and eigenfunctions can be obtained by efficient diagonalization techniques. We apply this method to carbonyl sulfide OCS, hydrogen cyanide HCN, water H$_2$O, and nitrogen dioxide NO$_2$. When we base our calculations on high-quality PESs tuned to the experimental data, the computed spectra are in very good agreement with the observed band origins.
