The machine vision systems have been playing a significant role in visual monitoring systems. With the help of stereovision and machine learning, it will be able to mimic human-like visual system and behaviour towards the environment. In this paper, we present a stereo vision based 3-DOF robot which will be used to monitor places from remote using cloud server and internet devices. The 3-DOF robot will transmit human-like head movements, i.e., yaw, pitch, roll and produce 3D stereoscopic video and stream it in Real-time. This video stream is sent to the user through any generic internet devices with VR box support, i.e., smartphones giving the user a First-person real-time 3D experience and transfers the head motion of the user to the robot also in Real-time. The robot will also be able to track moving objects and faces as a target using deep neural networks which enables it to be a standalone monitoring robot. The user will be able to choose specific subjects to monitor in a space. The stereovision enables us to track the depth information of different objects detected and will be used to track human interest objects with its distances and sent to the cloud. A full working prototype is developed which showcases the capabilities of a monitoring system based on stereo vision, robotics, and machine learning.

Abstract:
Patients who undergo mechanical heart valve replacements or have conditions like Atrial Fibrillation have to take Vitamin K Antagonists (VKA) drugs to prevent coagulation of blood. These drugs have narrow therapeutic range and need to be very closely monitored due to life threatening side effects. The dosage of VKA drug is determined and revised by a physician based on Prothrombin Time - International Normalised Ratio (PT-INR) value obtained through a blood test. Our work aimed at predicting the maintenance dosage of warfarin, the present most widely recommended anticoagulant drug, using the de-identified medical data collected from 109 patients from Kerala. A Support Vector Machine (SVM) Regression model was built to predict the maintenance dosage of warfarin, for patients who have been undergoing treatment from a physician and have reached stable INR values between 2.0 and 4.0.

Abstract:
Monosilicides of 3d-metals frequently show a chiral magnetic ordering with the absolute configuration defined by the chirality of the crystal structure and the sign of the Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction (DMI). Structural and magnetic chiralities are probed here for Fe$_{1-x}$Co$_x$Si series and their mutual relationship is found to be dependent on the chemical composition. The chirality of crys…

The chirality of crystal structure was previously shown to be governed by crystal growth, and the value of the DMI is nearly the same for all monosilicides of Fe, Co and Mn. Our findings indicate that the sign of the DMI in Fe$_{1-x}$Co$_x$Si is controlled by the Co composition $x$, thus, opening a route towards controlled design of chiral spintronics devices.
