Gevrey classes are the most common choice when considering the regularities of smooth functions that are not analytic. However, in various situations, it is important to consider smoothness properties that go beyond Gevrey regularity, for example when initial value problems are ill-posed in Gevrey settings. Extended Gevrey classes provide a convenient framework for studying smooth functions that possess weaker regularity than any Gevrey function. Since the available literature on this topic is scattered, our aim is to provide an overview to extended Gevrey regularity, highlighting its most important features. Additionally, we consider related dual spaces of ultradistributions and review some results on micro-local analysis in the context of extended Gevrey regularity. We conclude the paper with a few selected applications that may motivate further study of the topic.

Abstract:
We analyse various exponential off-diagonal decay rates of the elements of infinite matrices and their inverses. It is known that such decay of the elements of an infinite matrix does not imply inverse--closeness, i.e. the inverse, if exists, does not have the same order of decay. We discuss some consequences and extensions of this result.

By implementing the theory of $C_0-$semigroups and evolution systems into the chaos expansion theory in infinite dimensional spaces, we prove existence and uniqueness of solutions for this class of SPDEs. In particular, we also treat the linear nonautonomous case and provide several applications featured as stochastic reaction-diffusion equations that arise in biology, medicine and physics.

Abstract:
The main subject of this paper is the analysis of sequences of exponentially bounded integrated semigroups which are related to Cauchy problems \begin{equation}\label{jed} \frac{\partial}{\partial t}u(t,x)-a(D)u(t,x)=f(t,x), \quad u(0,x)=u_0(x), \quad t\geq 0, \ x\in \mathbb R^d, \end{equation} with a distributional initial data $u_0$ and a distributional right hand side $f$ through a sequence of…

Comparison of sequences of infinitesimal generators and the determination of corresponding sequences of integrated semigroups are the main subject of the paper. For this purpose, we introduce association, the relation of equivalence for infinitesimal generators on one side and the corresponding relations of equivalence of integrated semigroups on another side. The order of involved assumptions on generators essentially characterize the mutual dependence of sequences of infinitesimal generators and the corresponding sequences of integrated semigroups.

Planning of any motion starts by planning the trajectory of the CoM. It is of the highest importance to ensure that the robot will be able to perform planned trajectory. With increasing capabilities of the humanoid robots, the case when contacts are spatially distributed should be considered. In this paper, it is shown that there are some contact configurations in which any acceleration of the center of mass (CoM) is feasible. The procedure for identifying such a configurations is presented, as well as its physical meaning. On the other hand, for the configurations in which the constraint on CoM movement exists, it will be shown how to find that linear constraint, which defines the space of feasible motion. The proposed algorithm has a low complexity and to speed up the procedure even further, it will be shown that the whole procedure needs to be run only once when contact configuration changes. As the CoM moves, the new constraints can be calculated from the initial one, thus yielding significant computation speedup. The methods are illustrated in two simulated scenarios.

We study the impact of a body against a rigid wall. The body consists of a rigid block and a viscoelastic rod described by the fractional Zener model. Translatory motion of a body is influenced by the dry friction, described by the set-valued Coulomb friction law. We show that the sheaves of algebras of generalized functions $Ω\to \mathcal{G}(Ω)$ and $Ω\to \mathcal{G}^{\infty}(Ω)$, $Ω$ are open sets in a manifold $X$, are supple, contrary to the non-suppleness of the sheaf of distributions.
